"Whoo! Excellent."
"Sounds great guys!"
"Yeah!"

"Thank you! We're sunset curve!" Reggie spoke into the mic, making sure everyone knew who they were.

The four guys jumped off the stage after their sound-check; Luke, Reggie and Alex coming over and wrapping their sweaty arms around me.

"Ew! Guys! You're all sweaty and gross." I exclaimed, wanting them off me. The three of them just laughed, letting me go.
"You guys were awesome though, tonight you are so gonna rock the people's worlds."

"Hey Bobby, where you going?" The four of us followed Bobby, the fourth member of the band, over to where a young woman was working. She was most likely around our ages, seventeen maybe eighteen.
"I'm good. Vegetarian, I could never hurt an animal." Bobby lied to the gorgeous young lady.

"You guys are really good."
"Thank you." Luke genuinely smiled at her, resting his arm on Bobby's shoulder.
"I see a lot of bands. Been in a couple myself. I was really feeling it." She continued, fuelling the boys' egos.
"That's what we do this for. I'm Luke by the way."
"Hi, I'm Reggie." He said in his usual happy voice.
"Alex." He gave her a small wave.
"Bobby."

She then looked at me expectantly.
"Oh, I'm Casey."
"Nice meeting you guys."
Luke gave Bobby a wet willy, which made me let out a small laugh.
"I'm Rose."
"Oh,uh...here's our demo, and a t-shirt. Size beautiful." Reggie tried to flatter the girl, to which Alex groaned in disappointment.
"Thanks." Rose said, holding it against her. I cannot tell you how many of those shirts I have. Ones that are white with 'sunset curve' written in white and ones that are black with it written in white. Reggie even gave me a purple one with green writing on, which may have been my favourite but the others weren't convinced it went with their 'style'.

"I'll make sure not to wipe the tables down with this one." She hung it over her shoulder.
"Oh, good call. Whenever they get wet, they just kind of fall apart in your hands." Alex explained.
"Don't you guys have to go get hot dogs?" Bobby asked in an attempt to get rid of them so he could flirt with Rose.
"Yeah. He had a hamburger for lunch." Luke told her, before we began walking off.

The boys went to collect their stuff, and I followed so that I could get mine. I put my water bottle in my small, brown, leather bag, and threw on my black denim jacket over my floral dress.

"You coming with Case?" Luke asked, throwing an arm over my shoulder.
"Oh, I'd love to to, but street dogs just aren't for me. Are you guys sure you wouldn't rather come back to mine and I quickly whip you up something?" I ask, looking at the two others as I already knew Luke's answer would be street dogs.
"No, it's alright. We're happy with street dogs." Reggie beamed, smiling.
"Suit yourselves. I'll see you later."

Luke looked down at me and licked his top lip.
"So you'll be here later? To watch us perform for real?"
"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world."
"Yeah, she's our number one fan." Alex said, getting his stuff together.

I left the building, smiling with a small laugh at the three boys. Their presence just makes me laugh, everything is so much better with them.

I just didn't know that would be the last time I saw them.
