It was full moon, when a beautiful baby was born. They named her Seline, which means moon. Her skin was white as the snow, lips were pinkish, eyes were sparkling. From the moment she was born, they knew. She was going to be extraordinary.
As the alarm clock went off, Seline groaned reaching for it. She stood up and stretched her arms and legs. She made a plain breakfast, eggs, bacons, and milk. As she was eating she looked around her kitchen seeing piled up dishes.
It has been over 2 years since she moved out from her parents house, and here she is living in a complete mess. Seline is known to be the pretty, organized, calm, and kind girl in her university. But Seline isn't actually that type of girl, she's just not confident about her personality.
She doesn't talk much, but is very loud when she's talking to her best friend Jesse. They've known each other since middle school, no one could ever separate this two. Jesse and Seline are sisters, not by blood, but by heart.
Seline finished her food and just added the plate to the pile of dishes she had. Getting ready for school, Seline didn't bother to take a shower. She just washed her face and brushed her teeth. Combing her black hair, revealing some of her silver hair, which she highlighted a month ago. She decided not to tie them up.
Grabbing her backpack together with her wallet she went out of her apartment and walked to the university . It was 8am, just another boring day, same path towards their university. Always getting unwanted attentions from people passing by her, attracted, stunned, and amazed by her beauty.
It's like seeing the moon in the broad daylight. She was about to enter the gate when she heard a loud voice calling for her "SELINE" it was Jesse running towards her. As soon as she saw Jesse she waved her hands and walked slowly so Jesse could catch up.
Gasping for air Jesse asked Seline "What's your schedule today?"
"I have my art class this morning and english class at 1pm to 3pm in the afternoon, what about yours?" Seline replied to Jesse's question and looked at her.
"Welp unlucky me, I have History class this morning." Jesse said. "Wha— that's just unfair, you don't have any afternoon classes?" Seline pouted and crossed her arms. "Nope. But I have three classes tomorrow. Ugh!" Jesse groaned as Seline Whisper-shouted 'Yes' in Victory.
The friends parted ways, Seline was casually walking at the hall. The jealous girls watch her as she pass by, rolling their eyes in annoyance. Seline sat down and waited for Mr. Addams to arrive, The Art teacher. The doors swung open and revealed a nice looking young man.
"He's probably new" Seline thought to herself. He sat down at the empty chair right behind her. After a minute Mr. Addams finally arrived. He started explaining and giving them instructions before they proceed to paint.
It has been an hour since Seline finished, they choose what to paint, so Seline chose to paint a girl sitting on the moon. Seline has always been good at drawing, sketching, painting, and other art stuffs. Mr. Addams wanted them to explain why they chose to paint those, but the school bell interfered and cut him off.
"Okay students, prepare an explanation on what you painted and why, that will he your assignment. See you next week." The students hummed and went out.
Seline grabbed her phone from her bag and texted Jesse.
S: Jesse, let's meet at the cafeteria. My class is over, cya!
J: Mine's over too, I'm heading to cafeteria rn.
S: Btw, there's a new guy in my class earlier. I didn't know what his name was tho, but he was looking good.
J: LMAO spill the tea later when we meet.
S: Okay.
Seline walked to the cafeteria and searched for an empty 2-person table. She sat down and after a brief wait Jesse joined her. "I'm gonna buy coffee, would you want some? I'll treat you" Jesse said as she was searching for her purse.
"Yeah sure, dark."
"Mmhmm"
Jesse stood up and went to get some coffee, Seline was waiting. But for some moment she decided to make her assignment in advance, so she can just chill later.
She grabbed her notebook and started scribbling. Jesse was walking to their table carrying a tray. "What's that?" she placed the tray. "It's our assignment in Arts, Mr. Addams wants us to explain our paintings."
Seline reached for her coffee, as Seline was drinking her coffee someone bumped unto her elbow, which caused the coffee to spill all over her notebook and her lap. Seline looked up to see who it was and it was Katherine.
The spoiled girl in the school, she gets whatever she wants. She's rich, beautiful, playgirl, bitch, nasty, spoiled brat. "Oops! Sorry didn't see you there." She has been picking on Seline ever since they were in 9th grade.
"Oh no, it's okay" Seline said in a small voice. Jesse, who is a hot headed girl, glared at Katherine. "Hey watch it! You have eyes don't you?!" She snapped. "Forget it."
Seline grabbed a tissue and wiped her jeans and notebook. She had to re-write the paragraph she wrote, but it's much better than picking a fight with Katherine.
Jesse won't stop complaining on how a bitch Katherine was. "She's so jealous that you're pretty and she looks like a rug, what do guys even see at her. She's a total garbage."
"Stop it HAHAHAHA she's not worth wasting saliva at." Seline laughed off the irritation. "Oh about the new guy you were talking about." Jesse reminded Seline. "Can you like describe how he looked?"
"Uhh, his height was around 5'10ft. His eyes were pure black, His hair was dyed yellow and black roots." I described him as I remembered. "Is that him? The guy Katherine is flirting with rn?" Seline looked at the direction Jesse was looking at.
And saw a very annoying sight, Katherine and her minions were gathering around him. He didn't look very happy but Seline and Jesse can feel the awkwardness. Seline gathered the courage and walked up to him.
"Uhh hey, you're my partner on the project right?" Seline signaled him with her eyes. Katherine looked at Seline up and down. "Can't you see that we were talking?" She said in an irritated tone.
"We come to school to learn. Not to flirt." Everyone that heard what Seline said was shocked. It was the first time that Seline stood up to Katherine, since Seline is known to be the type to avoid troubles.
"Now if you'll please excuse us we gotta discuss about our project." Seline pulled the new guy to their table. "Whooo! That was clean!!" Jesse and Seline high five each other. Katherine stood there speechless.
"Thanks for saving my ass there." The guy said. "Sure no problem." Seline's voice was lower than earlier. "I'm Aster, nice to meet you." He introduced himself to the ladies. "Star?" Jesse asked. "Yes"
"I'm Seline" "I'm Jesse"
"Seline as in moon?"
