Chapter 20

"Well your name suits you well."

As Ally got started on my tattoo, Me and Rihanna talked more.

"So do you live around here?"

I questioned her.

She Shook her head

"Nah I used to when I was 15 but I live in the Redmond area now, what about you?

I sighed "I used to live in Auburn, I moved here when I was about 13."

"So you've been in the Seattle area for a while huh?"

I nodded

"Yeah Like my whole life, After college I wanna move to New york."

"YES oh my god me too!"

She said in excitment and then continued.

"Also can we talk about how healthy and amazing your curls look like I could never."

I disagreed "NO not at all, Its so frizzy."

"Pff girl shut up it's gorgeous. Is your hair naturally brown?"

I nodded

"Yeah but I've always wanna dye it black."

She gasped

"Do it! It would look so so good on you I will even dye my hair back to black with you."

I looked at her suprised

"Wait your hairs not naturally brown?"

She shook her head "Nope I got it dyed it's Naturally black."

I smirked

"I'm down to dye it black if you are."

"YES, what's your number? We have to hangout."

She handed me her phone and I handed her mine

We both put our phones back in our pockets after exchanging numbers.

"So when Are you free?"

She shrugged

"I'm free on Wednesday of that's cool with you."

I nodded

"I'm free Wednesday, What salon?"

"Do you know Van by any chance? her shop is by Rainer Avenue." She questioned

"Yeah I do she always cuts my hair."

She nodded

"Ok I'll called her an let her know."

After Ally and Meg finished our tattoos. I had to admit I looked pretty badass my whole upper right arm was covered with the outline of my Mom face.

We had agreed on meeting up Wednesday again and get our hair done.

For the rest of the day I hung out in my apartment snacking and binge watching my favorite movies.

Around 7:50pm I went to get ready knowing that Ryder would be here to pick me up soon.

I changed into a black skin tight tank top and black sweats. As I checked the time on my phone I got a text from Ryder.

*text messages*

"I'm waiting downstairs."

"I'll be down in a sec."

I quickly put on my converses, grabbed my phone and keys and headed out.

As the elevator reached the lobby I walked out with my hands in my pockets. Ryder looked up from his phone and stood up.

As I walked up to him, he put his phone in his pocket and his eyes shifted back and forth from my tattoo to my face.

I raised my eyebrows "What's wrong?"

He shrugged "Nothing, Let's go."

As we both sat in his car I had the urge to ask.

"Why can't you just realise the recording of the call?"

He sighed "Cause we need more evidence."

"Isn't that enough evidence though?"

He shook his head

"No if you want him in jail for abuse, Sexual assault, and framing your mom, we need more evidence."

I nodded "Makes sense."

(20 minutes later)

We had gotten to Benny's we hide in the alley way between the bar and the strip club next door.

My Dad and the guys that raded my house that morning were all there behind the bar sitting by the fire pit laughing and joking

My Dad scoffed

"My stupid Kids got the will money."

The guys laughed

"What are you gonna do now bro? Kill your kids?"

My Dad shook his head

"nah I don't know where they are now. Maybe If I knew where my Daughter Aurora was I'd you know.."

They all chuckled.

I turned to look at Ryder, I could hear his jaw tick as he clenched it. Then dropped his phone on the concerte by accident.

"What's that noise?"

One of the guys questioned.

Ryder quickly turned to look at me "Shit."

I furrowed my eyebrows "What?"

I took I quickly look to realize that one of the guys were walking toward us had a gun in his hand, But hadn't seen us peeking.

Ryder whisper in my ear "Do you trust me?"

I lightly shook my head "No"

"Kiss me"

"What?"

"Kiss me or we're dead."

Before I could say anything else, Ryder kissed me on the lips. His passionate kisses sent shivers down my spine.

He whispered in my ear again

"Make it look real."

He slowly moved his hand down to my waist and pulled me closer.

The man approached us.

Ryder turned around

"Can't you see I'm with my girl."

The man chuckled "My bad."

And beginning to walked away, Ryder turned around and sighed "Let's go."
