I plumped down on my bed grabbing my phone the first thing I see is the date the 3rd of August 5 more days till the grom, I scavenge through my pocket and pulled out a piece of paper I unfold it to read
Dear amity would you accompany me to grom?

I have been planning this for a month now but when it starts to get closer to grom the more nervous I get, i have liked amity since the night with the library incident I cringe at the thought I sigh and put the letter back in my pocket "she is never going to say yes" I whisper to my self then out of no where king jumped onto my lap snuggling into me "she will" he says before dozing off.
