"A woman? What's her name?" Bayo asked, curious. He knew his friend doesn't have a woman he would leave his work to spend an hour with.
"Yimika Davies."
"Yimika? She is short, dark and she had these big boobs right?" He asked.
Uche didn't seem surprised. She knew he would know the person that is why she had told him about it.
"Yes. Correct. I haven't seen her before. But she came and she acted so confident that Demmy will want to see her. She is a bit arrogant for my likeness. I don't know how she knows my boss."
"She never changes." That was what Bayo said. "Thank you for letting me know. I will keep trying Demilade number and I might not be able to get him. So please call me when he gets back to the office. We can't let the devil back into his life."
"What do you mean?" Uche asked.
He laughed and said. "It seems you are curious about the lady. Are you surprised that a lady is visiting your boss at work?" He teases. And she chuckles.
"Today seems a little surprising." She admitted. Two different ladies visited her boss in a single day. That is new. And another thing is she doesn't know who any of them are. So she is curious.
"You are Demilade secretary. You find things out for him."
"That's actually Dayo's job." She said.
"He's your boyfriend, right? Ask him to help you do a little research."
"Should I like her?" She asked.
He paused. "Definitely no. Thanks, Uche. We will talk later." And he ends the call.
"Okay." She said. She was going to take his advice. She dialled Dayo's international number and he answered almost immediately. After exchanging pleasantries, she said.
"I need your help love. I want to find out about someone..... Yimika Davies."

Demilade took Yimika to one of the five-star hotels he usually takes his wealthy clients to. It was the closest to his workplace and also an expensive one.
He had brought her there so she could know who he was.
They ordered some drinks and food. Demilade watched as she eats quietly. He could see that she had changed. She was now plumper, more mature and older. She was no longer the lady he knew. Although her eyes were still the same, thin and the shiny glint of something he never knows was still there.
"When do you come back?" He asked later when she had finished her food. He barely touch the fried rice he was served.
"A month ago. I lounge with my mom and elder sister at port Harcourt. My mom stay with my sister now that my dad had died. They couldn't let her stay alone." She answered.
He nodded without saying a word. And she smiled sadly at him. She noticed how different he was. He was very different from the man whose heart she broke nine years ago. If you are meeting him for the first time and didn't know his past, you will never know he was once poor. The way he moves, the way he talks, the way he looks... Everything about him speaks wealth, power, influence... different. He was so different from the man she knew. How things change.
