She is short, dressed in a trouser, a camisole and a long white coat with high heels. She carried an expensive Gucci bag and she wore a Gucci watch.

"Mika?!" He exclaimed.

She grinned widely. "Yes, it is me. Hello Demmy. Long time no see."

"Oh, my God! It's you." He said like he couldn't believe he could ever see her again.

"Yes, it is me." She smiled. He stands up and walked out of his desk to her front and he still looked shocked to see her.

              After nine years!

              She did come back!

He was still staring at her perplexed when she moved close to him and embraced him. He slowly embraces her back.

"It's so good to see you. How have you been?" He asked.

"Good." She said in his arm with a smirk on her face. She knew he was going to welcome her with open arms. Her charm on him never fails to work.

Uche was eating her late lunch and at the same staring at some pictures, Dayo had sent to her which he had taken on his vacation to London. She smiled looking at the pictures as she eat.

She was still eating and scrolling at the same time when another call came in. She groaned at the disturbance. Her boss wasn't at work but she still have to work.

She cleared her thoughts and sat upright.

"Hello. This is the office of Demmy Empire. How can we help you?" She asked in her usual formal but polite tone.

"It's me, Bayo." Adebayo, Demilade's best friend said on the phone trying to stifle laughter. He still found it funny whenever Uche talked that way with him.

"Oh, Mr Ba... I mean Bayo." She said switching to speaking informally. And she smiled. "Good afternoon. How are Helen and Joan?"

"There are good. And you? How is work going? Hope Demmy isn't overworking you now that Dayo isn't around." He asked in his usual cheerful self.

              She smiled. "No, he isn't."

"So speaking of the devil, where is he? I have been trying his personal number and it's not reachable. Is he in office? There is something I have to tell him." Bayo said switching to a serious mood.

"Well, he isn't in office now. He left about fifteen minutes ago with his visitor." She told him.

"Visitor or a client?" Bayo asked.

"A guest. A woman." She answered. "She just came to see him and he left the office with her. He said he wouldn't be back for an hour." Which still surprised her because he have a lot to do before they leave for Tokyo tomorrow.

If it was another person, she wouldn't be explaining all this to them. That was her boss's privacy. But this is Bayo, his best friend. Someone close to him like a brother. And he would know about it sooner or later. Moreover, she wants to hear something from him.
