"Dave! Yeah, I do. I'm so glad to hear your voice. When did you come back?"

"Last night."

"And you didn't call me."

"He did. We've been trying your number. You didn't pick up." Ibukun said in the background.

"She is right Tiwa," David said. He is the only one after her dad that calls her Tiwa even if she doesn't like it. "So how are you girlfriend?"

"Who is your girlfriend? Better go find your girlfriend for front. We don pass girlfriend. (Go and look for your girlfriend somewhere else. We mean more than a girlfriend to you)." She said in pidgin and they laughed.

"Okay oh."

"I'm fine. How about you? Hope the journey wasn't so stressful?"

"I coped. I've missed you so much Tiwalola. I thought you will be home that is why I came over to your house. I heard about this funny work you are doing for some rich guy. What's that?" He asked curiously.

"I told him little about your contract relationship but he didn't seem to believe me. But I received the pictures you sent to me last night. Lola that man is fucking handsome. So you've been living with a guy as hot as that. And he is also rich. You're a Cinderella girl." Ibukun said too quickly and Lola chuckles sadly.

"Who is the guy Tiwa?" David asked.

"Just some guy. Demilade Ninalowo." She answered sadly.

"What's wrong Lola? You don't sound okay. Did something happen? Did he hurt you?" Ibukun asked in a fast manner.

"What is it Tiwalola?" David asked calmly even if he still sound worried.

"I'm fine."

"Now I believe you are not." Ibukun disagreed. "Common babe. What happen?"

"I'm just hurt." She said and she sniffed.

"What happened what did he do to you?"

"He didn't do anything. I'm just hurt. I was so stupid and cheap and..."

"Calm down Lola stop crying. And don't call yourself cheap. You are not cheap. You have pride, dignity and principles and you abide by them. I never know you to be cheap." David said. "And you are not."

"Do you perhaps begin to have feelings for him?" Ibukun asked. She sounded so serious. She was sounding like a quack.

"Maybe... Kind of. It's crazy, right? I'm not supposed to have any feelings for him. I'm not his type. I'm just so dumb and stupid."

"Falling for someone doesn't make you stupid. It's not your fault."

"It is. I'm not supposed to let this happen. I just end up hurting myself." She cried.

"Calm down Lola. You will be fine."

"Did you tell him that and he reject you?" David teased.

         She chuckles. "Of course not."

"So what happens best friend?" Ibukun asked. She can be very serious and sweet if she wants to be. She would not have admitted she was her best friend if not for the situation.

"I am not even sure how I feel. I just know that I get affected by whatever he does. I feel happy when I am around him. My heart skipped whenever he touches me or made some comments about what I do or what I wear." She told her friends and she summarized what happened during the weekend to them and what she did earlier in the day.

"I'm a fool, right? I've barely known him for more than a month. The deal hasn't been a month and I was already getting my hopes high. I was fooling myself. He had been nothing but arrogant except for a few cases like the weekend and I went head over the hill for him and expecting the impossible."

"You are not a fool girl. You are just falling in love. It's not your fault." Ibukun soothed her.

"You warned me IB."

"I didn't even know it was going to happen. We don't know what's going to happen. But don't be sad dear. I would have fell head over the hill for him. Seriously, the guy is handsome and wealthy. He is a damn billionaire which girl won't like him."

"IB," David said. And Lola could tell he was rolling his eyes.

"That's the truth, Dave. You know what? we are going to come over tomorrow."

"But... I don't know..."

"Damn the consequences dearly."

"But why? Why do you want to come here? I want to see you guys too but he might not be so happy with it."

"Well, that's my plan."

"And what are you planning to do IB?" David asked.

"I'm not really sure." She answered him. "And don't worry babe we are going to pay him a little for hurting my friend. Send us the address. We will see tomorrow girl."

"Okay." She didn't have any power to argue with Ibukun. She doesn't know what she is planning but she can't stop her either. Moreover, she wants to see them too. "Thank you, guys. You just made my day better. Thank you."

"It's nothing dear." They chorused.

"Bye."

"Bye." And the call ends. She put her phone down on the bed beside her and fell on her back on the bed staring at the chandelier in the ceiling before closing her eyes.

Hmmm... What do you think Ibukun want to do? Me, she can't do anything. Lol.

And my Lola's heart is broken. Demilade is back to his mean self. Poor Lola.

Who do you think are those people who came to see Mrs Jolaoluwa? If you can get it, I will dedicate the next chapter to the person.
