I'm sasuke's WHAT?!

Saving Sasuke

Adrienne and Maria seemed to realize that I had been thinking of the dream. They started to leave.

"KAKASHI!!!" Adrienne called over her shoulder. "COME WITH US, WE'LL EXPLAIN IT TO YOU LATER!!!!!"

Kakashi followed them away from where I stood.

"Now," I smirked. "Show me what you've got."

Zabuza was the first to attack. He tried to chop me in half with his sword. I just used a Kamui so that it wouldn't hurt me. It seemed that Zabuza had already known that I would use a kamui, so he had had a clone ready to surprise me. I was too good for him though. I saw the sword coming and made an ice replica of me that stopped and shattered the sword while I poofed underneath the bridge.

I activated my rinnegan so that I could see what was going on above me. It was completely frozen-like. I smiled as I saw what I had done. Then I swung myself back up over the side onto the bridge.

"You really are some kid." Zabuza said. He was stalling I could tell that he was physically weakened from fighting. Haku was worn too. If I really wanted to I could kill both of them now. But that's no fun.

I used an ice jutsu to create myself duel katanas. They were really awesome. I infused them with my chakra and try started glowing rainbow colors. I started off with Zabuza. I figured he'd be easy to beat since he's practically useless with out his sword.

I had only taken one swing at him when Haku jumped in the way and saved him, killing herself. I then backed down so that Gatou's men could kill Zabuza and Naruto could lecture him about Haku.

I walked over to Sasuke and sat next to him. Sakura was already there, sobbing. I was about to tell her it would be okay when I noticed something that shouldn't be there. There was a huge gash on Sasuke's stomach.

I felt his pulse, but there was nothing there. He should have waken up by now, but he hasn't. I began to fear that he may actually be dead. Something inside me was telling me there was only one thing I could do. Granny Chiyo's jutsu.

I used it without thinking. I saw sasuke open his eyes, then everything went black.

When I woke up, I found myself on Kakashi's back. He was sprinting. I wanted to ask him why, but I was too lazy, so I just read his mind.

"Must get to the leaf. Must get her to safety."

I didn't really know who her was, but I figure it would be faster if I ran. I hopped off Kakashi's back.

"HOP ON!!!" I screamed. "IT'LL BE FASTER THIS WAY!!!"

He got on without questioning me. I sprinted as fast as I could. Something was telling me that Kakashi wanted to go to the hospital, so I ran there in thirty seconds.

Once we arrived, Kakashi hopped off my back and looked around frantically. When he saw me standing there, he stopped.

"Wait a second..." he said. "Hotaru?"

"Yes?" I was confused now.

Kakashi anime fell. "But you were dead..."

I know realized that I was the girl his was trying to get to safety. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to frighten you. Where are the others?"

"I ditched them in the forest. They couldn't keep up."

I got an eye twitch. "well, if you don't mind, I'm going to go get the children that you're supposed to be leading."

I tracked down Adrienne's chakra and poofed to her location. I grabbed the five of them and poofed back to the hospital where Kakashi was waiting.

Realizing that they weren't in the forest, they stopped running.

"What happened?" Naruto asked.

"I came to get you guys to spare you the trouble of running all the way back to Konoha."

They then seemed to notice that I was standing there, alive. Unfortunately for me, they all swarmed me with hugs. All except Sasuke.

"Why did you do that?" He asked.

"Because you were dead."

"So, that doesn't mean you have to save me."

"Yes it does. Your my brother. Stop being so selfish."

"YOU COULD HAVE DIED!!!" I then noticed that Sasuke was crying. "You could have died and it would have been my fault."

Sasuke crumpled to the ground and put his head in his knees. I walked over to him and put my arm around him.

"It's okay." I said calmly. "I'm still here. I didn't die. Everything is okay."
