I wake up on the cold basement floor.I don't know why they abuse me,I never did anything to deserve this.

Armani:Daddy look what I did in school.
Ad:Get the fuck outta my face!
Armani:*cries*
Am:Shut the hell up and get in the cellar!*hits her*
Armani:Mommy that hurts!
Am:I don't give a damn!
Ad:Don't come out until we tell you to.
*Flashback over*
Everytime I go to school with bruises I just say I hurt myself playing with my little brother.I don't even have a brother but nobody suspects.I don't really have any friends,the closest thing I have to a friend is this boy Lucas in the high school part of my school.He speaks to me every time he sees me.He's the only reason I don't think about suicide.
*School*
Lucas:Hey Armani
Armani:Hey*sighs*
Lucas:You okay?
Armani:Yeah
Lucas's P.O.V
She doesn't look okay,she's pale and looks very thin,I mean she's already a small girl but compared to how she looks now she's almost anorexic.
Lucas:*hugs her*Armani I know you're not okay whenever you decide to tell me what's wrong I'm here.
Armani's P.O.V
I want to tell him but I don't know how he'll react but I have to tell someone.
Armani:Um how about after school at the football field?
Lucas:I'll be there.
*Afterschool*
Armani:Ok before I say this promise nothing will change.
Lucas:I promise
Armani:I really don't know how to say this.
Lucas:Just say it
Armani:Well since I was 8 I've been abused by my parents.*tears up*
Lucas:Oh my gosh Armani.*hugs her*How about you come to my house for a while.
Armani:I can't I'll just get in more trouble.
Lucas:Please I promise I won't let anything happen to you.
Armani:Promise?
Lucas:Promise.
Armani:Okay but not for long

Lucas:Okay, you wanna watch tv or something?

Armani:So are your parents here?
Lucas:Nah they're at work.
Armani:Oh ok
Lucas:*puts arm around her*
Armani:Lucas why are you friends with me?
Lucas:What do you mean?
Armani:You're almost 3 years older than me and like the most popular guy in high school but you still decide to talk to me why is that?
Lucas:Because when I first saw you I couldn't resist to talk to someone so beautiful.
Armani:*blushes*
Lucas:So what time you have to go back?
Armani:5:30
Lucas:*looks at the time*well we better get going
Armani:I can walk it's not that far.
Lucas:At least let me walk with you it's the least I can do.

I hold Armani's hand while we were walking to let her know everything was going to be okay.
Lucas:Can I get a hug before you go in?
Armani:Of course

As I was hugging Lucas my dad opens the door and he raises his hand to hit me,I close my eyes and wait for the impact but I don't feel anything,Lucas is blocking me from getting hurt.He promised me he wouldn't let anything happen to me and he kept that promise.He picks me up and carries me away.
Lucas:You okay bab- I mean Armani?
Armani:Yeah thanks for protecting me
Lucas:It was an instinct,I can't believe he was going to hit you,you didn't even do anything.
Armani:......Um where are you taking me?
Lucas:Back to my place,I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing you could be in danger.
Armani:But what about all my stuff?
Lucas:We can get it later, the most important thing is your safety.
Armani's P.O.V
He actually cares for me.
Lucas:Mom!?
LM:I'm in here!
Lucas:Hey mom is it okay if my friend stays the night?
LM:Yea where is he?
Armani:*comes from behind Lucas*

LM:Did your parents say it was okay for you to stay over?

Lucas:Um Armani how about you go put on a movie and I'll be right there.
Armani:Okay
Lucas:Mom please don't bring up her parents.

Lucas:Just don't I can't really tell you.
Armani:Um Lucas I couldn't find the movies.
Lucas:I'll help you.

Armani:Your mom about my parents.
Lucas:No I didn't know if you wanted me to.

I wake up on the couch with Armani on my chest.She looks so angelic when she's sleep.I'm glad I could help her before things got too worse.
Armani:*stretches*Oh I'm sorry I didn't know that you was right there I'll get up.*starts to get up*
Lucas:No it's fine*pulls her back*
Armani:I don't remember anything from last night.
Lucas:You must've slept good.
Armani:All I remember is us watching School Dance and slowly falling asleep.
Lucas:I could've sworn I went upstairs tho.
Armani:*laughs*
Lucas:You want to go to the mall?
Armani:Um sure but can I get my stuff from home first.
Lucas:Yeah just let me get ready first.
15 minutes later
Lucas:Armani you okay,you seem tense.
Armani:I'm scared they'll come back while I'm here.
Lucas:Armani what did I promise you yesterday.
Armani:That you won't let anything happen to me.
Lucas:So don't worry I got you.
Armani:*smiles*
5 minutes later
Armani:Do you here that?
AD:Where the hell is she!?
AM:Idk but when I see her I'm killing her!
Armani:*frantically looks around*
Lucas:*locks her door* Come here
Armani:Lucas we gotta leave.
Lucas:*holds her*They don't know we're here so we can wait until they leave or leave out of the window.
Armani:We're on the second floor.
Lucas:I'll go first and catch you.
Armani:Okay
The Mall
Devin:Aye Brian is that Lucas?
Brian:Yea who is that with him?
Armani:Why do those boys keep staring at us?*points*
Lucas:Oh that's Brian and Devin they cool.
Armani:They go to our school?
Lucas:Yeah,you wanna meet them?
Armani:Sure
Brian:Wassup Lucas

Did he just say?There's no way he could've possibly almost said that.
Devin:Hey Armani

Armani:I guess I could eat.
Lucas:Anything you want I'll buy it.
Armani:No it's okay you don't have to buy it.
Lucas:I don't have to but I want to.

When we were in line to get my food Lucas grabbed my waist out of nowhere,if it was anybody else I would've moved but when he does it just feels right.
Lucas:I'm sorry I keep doing this,you're clearly not interested in me.*walks to the bathroom*
Armani:*runs after him*Lucas come out please.

Armani:Fine I'm coming in!
Lucas:What the fuck Armani I keep doing this to show you that I like you but I know this could never work because you don't like me.

Armani:*grabs his hand* I've never told anyone this but you're the only reason I haven't thought about killing myself yet.*sighs*
Lucas:*holds her*Mani it's okay, I'm all yours now.
Armani:Can we just leave please.
