Chapter 8: Hexagon

Start from the beginning

They haven't noticed them and Taehyung counts, they are six. He looks at the guy who gives them drinks, he's handsome, he's smiling. They all are. It feels foreign. Weird even. To Taehyung atleast.

It angers him too. Doesn't know why. Maybe because he carves laugh so freely as well.

"Jeongguk-ah!" One of them says, he's handsome too, he's wearing glasses. His smile fades when he looks at Taehyung. Everyone then look at him, they stop laughing. They stop smiling.

Except one. Taehyung remembers him. He spilled a drink on him. Jung Hoseok. He remembers. He's grinning a little.

"Who's that?" It's one of the two short ones who asks. He's also handsome. Heck, they all are. They're standing now, facing him and Jeongguk, they're looking at Taehyung mostly.

"Kim Taehyung." Jeongguk introduces him before Taehyung can.

"Isn't he Hyunjae's doll?" The other shorter one asks. He looks bored, sleepy but soft. He's standing next to Jung Hoseok.

"Yoongi hyung." Jeongguk says, voice a little bit edgy. Hyung. He has manners.

"He's not his doll anymore." Jeongguk says.

"Come." Jeongguk says the very next moment, he leads him further inside, the couching area further opens to the dining one. They are moving there, eyes questioning and curious. Taehyung feels their intense gazes on his back.

Taehyung sits on the chair that Jeongguk pulls out for him. He doesn't look at the members rather on the fruit basket that's on the dining table, the knife next to them is simple but looks sharp.

Taehyung's always been fascinated by knives and daggers.

He looks then. Two of the three taller ones are sitting on the couch, one shorter one is a little farther from the couch. The third taller one is rather close, he's looking at Jeongguk.

Jung Hoseok leans against the wall and Yoongi, as Jeongguk said, is also next to him. The one who was serving them, isn't here.

There's a cut on Jung Hoseok's cheek. Taehyung wants to laugh because he knows now that he created that.

Taehyung had observed them all.

"Why is he here?" It's Yoongi who asks. Taehyung wonders he must be a respected one to question the mafia boss.

Taehyung doesn't like the way he looks at him. He's judging and hates such eyes.

"He'll live here now." Jeongguk says who is standing on the opposite side of the table, leaning towards the chair, elbows on the backrest of it.

"What?" It's the tall one who asks. The one who's standing. They all seem taken aback by this.

"Namjoon hyung, he's staying here from now on. He is no longer Hyunjae's and never will be." Jeongguk replies.

Namjoon hyung. Taehyung looks. He's curious, this hyung is curious but calm. Very calm. His eyes scream at Jeongguk.

Taehyung wonders how he's so good at reading eyes and people.

Like this Yoongi hyung who certainly doesn't like idea of him here.

"Did you buy him?" Yoongi asks and Taehyung doesn't like the way he speaks just now. Buy!! Taehyung wants to tell him how their mafia boss won't leave him alone.

"No, I didn't. I don't literally buy people, hyung." Jeongguk says and he's explaining them. He's a good boss, tells them the truth. Not really.

"He was with Hyunjae! Shin Hyunjae! How can you trust him?" Yoongi grits his teeth and Taehyung frowns at him. What's his problem?
