My eyes flashed open. I was by the lake. I jolted upright, looking around for a hint of where I was. There was a huge, rambling, quite scary-looking castle, with a jumble of towers and battlements in front of me, which I suspected was Hogwarts. It was really crowded, students were rushing in to the castle as if they were in a marathon race.

I picked myself up from the ground, that was when I discovered that I was wearing a long black robe with a blouse, tie and skirt underneath, a pointed hat on the top of my head and a wand in my right hand. "Wow, so I am a student here..." I thought.

I made my way to the entrance when suddenly an owl decided to land on my shoulder. I stroked its head, "Hello there owl," It hooted back in response.

I giggled, "You understand me, don't you?" It hooted cheerfully. I assumed it understood what I meant.

"Don't you have a master?" It shook its head.

"Alright then, I can be your master if you want." It hooted cheerfully before flying to the sky and landed on my left hand.

"Hmm... What should I name you?" I mumbled as I looked into its green eyes and stroked its black feather. It really is a unique owl; I've never seen an owl like it before. I figured he was a male owl and decided to name him Verus. (as in SeVERUS Snape) I smirked, "Should I name you Snape instead?" I asked my owl playfully. He shook his head in terror and flew off.

"Oh well," I shrugged as I sashayed into the dining hall as if I own the place.

"Ouch!" A boy who was like 6'0 knocked me over. I was pretty sure he did it intentionally, judging by his silver-blonde hair and blue eyes; Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. The last person I wanted to meet in Hogwarts.

I rolled my eyes as I get up and mumbled, "Of course, Malfoy," He narrowed his eyes and grabbed me by the collar,"What did you just say?" he thundered.

"And how is that your business, Malfoy?" I snapped. He was about to punch me in the face when a boy with a lightning scar on his forehead came by and stopped him. Malfoy hissed and walked away.

"Are you okay?" The boy asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks, Harry," I replied.

"Am I really that famous?" he said while rubbing the back of his head.

"You can say so, " I replied calmly.

A few moments later, Hermione and Ron approached us. "There you are, Harry," said the red headed boy.

"Who is this?" asked the bushy haired girl. I can see she is Inquisitive. Oh well, I've reread the novel for like, 10 times. It would be a joke if I don't know how she's like.

"Speaking of which, we haven't introduced ourselves properly," said Harry.

"Oh," I said, "I'm (y/n) (l/n) , Nice to meet you," I greeted with a smile.

"I'm Hermione Granger," said the bushy haired girl.

"And I am Ron Weasley," the red haired boy continued. "I know," I replied with a smile. They exchanged looks for a moment before entering the dining hall with me.

We gathered in front of the podium and there was Professor Mcgonagall calling our names one by one. Among the four of us, Hermione was called to the top first, followed by Ron, and then Harry. Apparently, they were sorted to the Gryffindor house. When It was my turn, I was extremely nervous. I gulped down my saliva before going up to the podium, and then sorting hat sat on my head. It began moving and mumbling.

I looked around in nervousness, not knowing where to lay my eyes on, and that's when I saw Professor Snape for the first time. He was... Charming... His facial features: pale skin, slightly crooked large nose, his dark obsidian eyes, his posture: how he folded his arms across his chest, and that annoyed glare he gave, the aura that surrounded him... How... charming... I sighed dreamily and snapped out of it immediately, "Snap out of it (y/n)! It's not the time to fantasize about him," I slapped myself mentally.
