Ruby's POV

I couldn't believe it. Well ,I could believe it , but still! I couldn't fucking believe it . I was rejected by that fucking bitch of an Alfa. I can't even find the words to describe how I am feeling,well that was a lie , I know exactly! how the fuck I was feeling, although my feelings were in a bit of a wack at the moment I can distinguish between two very,and I mean very strong ones which were both Anger and hatred and if u r good at math which don't judge by the way I am not.Anger and Hatred equals the most likely sum REVENGE.I was hurt, of curse I was and still am , he's my mate for gods sake who wouldn't be, my wolf Elizabeth was weeping like a child right now but I wasn't and sure as hell won't.I take out my Anger through actions . Not self pity .

As I thought about that my body began to feel weird,I needed to think anyway so I took a seat on my bed,I the brought my knees up to my chest and hugged them with my hands then placed my head on them.After I did that I took the time to sort out my head and get my feelings in check and try to sort out the life changing event that just took place, while I was about to begin doing just that. My body started to itch and it felt like something ran or crawled up my spine.At the feeling I physically cringed and jumped off the bed out of pure shock , know that I was on my feet I could slowly but surely feel my body heating up,but suddenly I heard the sound of something snap! My heart practically sunk at the sound. Then practically couple milli seconds after the thought instantly came to me.

Holy! shit!, I was fucking shiftingand on that thought instant pain came over me accompanied by loud snapping sounds from before. In that moment I became hopeless and thought what a day to have a birthday . mate rejected u , first time hearing your wolf and she was weeping and last but not least no one was home to guide me through this because It was still working hours and both my guardians and older and younger siblings were out.so I was all alone feeling down,hurt,pain,loneliness and let's not forget anger.

The fuck, my fucking mate should be here helping me through this then right after we hunt together have we would have enough stamina to pound each other for a week or two , especially if we were a fated pair but since it seems we weren't or is even anything all I can do for know is just wait it out until the transformation is completed.

Ruby's POV

I woke up this morning feeling like shit, because I was up all night waiting for today. I got up of my bed and stood up like I was wondering where the hell am. I then realise I was in my bedroom so I turned to the clock that was suppose to wake me up 30 minutes ago only to see it smashed to pieces , I could not even be bothered to throw a tantrum so with a heavy sign I turned to head towards the bathroom
when my eyes flashed my calendar and say the date April 29 circled in big bright red, I couldn't miss it even if I tried ,then suddenly my mind went 29,29.... ,29,29!!!!,April 29!!. It was my birthday . Today was the day I turned eighteen!!! I squealed with excitement. I ran to the bathroom and
Stripped and went straight into the shower. While I was talking bath I thought to myself today was my big day I was turning 18 and I was going to meet my wolf as well as find my mate . oh wait I wonder who it would be . was if it was someone I already know.

Regardless I wouldn't care weather he was a commoner , rich kid, poor or in between or even if they were the same gender I wouldn't judge . I would accept them with open arms.I wouldn't mind a good looking mate too not that I wouldn't accept one that was not. I am just saying I wouldn't mind one that wasn't bad looking again weather they be a he or a she or even they/them(Transgender).

So after my heated bath I came out of the shower soaking wet ,so since I didn't carry my towel in with me I ran to my room ,fully naked by the way, grabbed my towel and toothbrush along the way and ran back to the bathroom to finish up.Now I was in my room in a pair of red undergarments.
