Colton's POV
"Babe! Do you want two slices or one?" I yelled to Dixie. The boys, Dixie and Addison were all over to relax after our flight.
"Two!" She answered. So three because she would most likely eat some of mine too. I put the pizza on our plate and headed to the living room.
"Dude you didn't get us anything?" Tony asked. "Yeah, there's pizza in the kitchen what are you talking about?" I looked at him confused. He shook his head standing as I handed Dixie our plate. "Thank you baby!" Dixie asked for a kiss. I leaned down accepting it with a smile.
I sat down beside her taking my slice as our friends went and got their slices. I motioned her over leaning down to her ear.
"You know after this I'm going to bend you over my bed and do a lot of things to you." I whispered. "Yeah?" She looked up at me as she bit her lip. "Yes." I smirked. "Too bad I'm on my period." She giggled.
"Really?" I groaned. "I'm sorry," She pouted. "But I love you." She leaned up to kiss me. "I love you too." I kissed her back.
"Love? Colton did you just say the L word?" Ondreaz smiled. I blushed. "Yeah dude. I did." I nodded. "Dude!" Tony tackled me as Ondreaz followed behind him.
"Get off me guys!" I laughed fighting them off playfully. "Colty's in love!" Tony kissed my cheek obnoxiously. "Ew stop it!" I finally pushed them both off.
"And they said we're weird." Addison giggled sitting on my other couch.
"We're affectionate!" Tony got up. "No shame!" Ondreaz straightened out his outfit sitting on the couch also saving room for Tony.
"So? Who said it first?" Tony asked eating as he sat back on the couch.
"Bolt!" Dixie answered as I leaned back into her. Her arms wrapping around me as I continued to eat. "And she was super dramatic about it!" Dixie giggled. "Dix! Seriously, my cred!" I whined.
"Oh that cred went out the door as soon as you became a big softy for babygirl!" Tony teased. "Oh you're one to talk!"
"Shut up dude!" He threw his sock at me. "Dude!" I launched myself at him. "You know I hate that!" We wrestled causing Addison to squeal as we still tried pinning each other down.
"Ok!" Ondreaz lifted me and threw me over his shoulder. "Relax ding dongs!" Ondreaz dropped me on the couch.
"Simp." Tony said. "Okay! Colton stop!" Dixie wrapped her arms around me. "Fine." I grumbled.
"But he's making fun of me for simping over you." I pouted. "Tony stop making in fun of Colton when you simp over Addi all the time." Dixie kissed my forehead.
"True!" He grumbled stealing a kiss from Addison. "Did you two just kiss!" Dixie squealed. "Babe." I whined holding my ear.
"Tell me everything!" Dixie stood making my head drop onto the couch. I groaned as Dixie pulled Addison upstairs.
"Girls are weird." I grabbed the forgotten pizza.

"Hey Mommy!" I greeted my mom once I got home from dropping Dixie off. "Hey Mayers!" She smiled as she wiped her hands in her cooking cloth.
"What's for dinner?" I asked sitting at my kitchen counter. "Veggie burgers and sweet potato fries." She answered sitting across from me. "I forgot you're vegan." I groaned. "Yep and you need to be too Colton, clean eating will help your game." She smiled. "Yeah, but pizza is too good to give up." I waved her off.
She rolled her eyes playfully. "Your coach called me this afternoon. He discussed the extent of your suspension." She led. I nodded. "Three games, but you can't be on the premises at all. You or Gregg."
I nodded. "I'm taking the suspension of Avani's too." I told her. She rose her eyebrow. "Why?" "She had my back out there. It's only right we have the same punishment. I'll tell coach tomorrow but I've made my decision." I said just as our oven timer went off.
My mom got up preparing our plates and handing me mine as she sat back down.
"I'm not gonna lecture you this time because I understand." She motioned for me to eat. "Colton we've never talked about race. I don't think we've had to." She sighed.
I nodded setting my burger down as I paid attention. "When I was little a boy in my class called me that exact word that she said to you." She sighed. "It didn't hurt because I didn't know what that word meant at the time but as I got older I understood. I don't want the same to happen to you. You are greater than anyone that stoops that low to use that word against you." She told me softly.
I nodded again sighing out. "I want closure but I won't get it. I just want to understand why she hated me enough to say that to me." My voice cracked. My mom stood to come over to me. She held me as I cried into her shoulder.
"You did nothing baby you have to believe that, people are cruel." She whispered. I nodded hugging her close.

"Yo!" Tony and Ondreaz pulled up to our meeting spot in the cliffs. I was standing in front of my car as the boys came to stand beside me.
"I love her." I said softly. "Yeah. You're in deep dude." Ondreaz responded. "Do you think we could call off that bet. I know we weren't serious but I just feel guilty." I said softly.
"Dude of course." Ondreaz said softly. A russle came from the bushes. We all looked into the darkness not seeing anything. I shrugged as Ondreaz sat on my hood still looking.
"How does it feel?" Ondreaz asked after a moment. "How does what feel?" I turned towards him raising my eyebrow. "Being in love." Ondreaz explained. "I mean I love you guys but being in love is different. Is it?" He looked towards me.
I nodded laughing to myself. "It is man. It is." I moved to sit on top of my hood beside him. "I don't even know what it feels like to be honest. It's just when I look at her I'm immediately happy and all my problems go away. She makes me feel safe you know, like I don't have to worry about anything when I'm with her." I said softly.
"Colty's in love!" Tony teased squeezing my cheek. "Stop bro!" I smiled softly. "But I'm happy for you Colt. You out of all of us deserve it." Tony pulled me into a hug.
"Soft!" Ondreaz shook his head playfully. "Shut up Dre." I giggled wrapping him in our hug too.
"So is that what she's been clingy lately?" Tony asked after we broke apart. "Oh no, totally different." I smirked.
"No way!" Ondreaz hit my shoulder. I nodded confirming what he was thinking. "Yes!" I laughed. "Colty got some yo!" Tony put me in a headlock playfully.
"Fuck off!" I laughed pushing him away. "Was she better than Gabi?" He rose is eyebrow. "I can't compare the two." I shook my head.
After I few seconds I snorted. "Okay I sounded like even more of a douche than actually answering the question." I laughed softly.
"She's taste really good though." I smirked. "Who would've thought you bagged a model bro." Tony smiled. "I know man." I laughed softly. "That's my baby."
"So are you two gonna stay together after graduation?" Dre asked.
"I'm gonna try to honestly. I just don't want to lose her." I spoke quietly. "Jesus what has she done to me?" I laughed. "Bro you're in love!" Tony gripped my shoulder. "Bask in it!" He smiled.
"And plus she loves you dude, you guys are like Aunt Vanessa and Uncle Kobe." Ondreaz pushed my shoulder. "Are you saying that because I'm black and she's white?" I joked.
"Shut up bro!" He laughed loudly.
"I love you guys." I sighed happily.
