"Hyunjae has captured you in this little apartment. You can't do anything without his will." Jeongguk says and Taehyung doesn't move.
"You go to a shelter house." Jeongguk says and Taehyung grits his teeth.
"Again, stalking." Taehyung utters.
"And what do you want to prove by asking me all of this?" Taehyung asks. Jeongguk keeps looking at him amused.
"You hate Hyunjae." Jeongguk utters and Taehyung takes a step forward. Jeongguk licks his lips.
"But you don't love him either. You want to get away from all this. I've seen the way you flinched when he touched you." Jeongguk says and Taehyung stays rooted.
"And why do you observe me. Why do you even look at me?" Taehyung asks.
"It's impossible not to look at someone like you, gorgeous." Jeongguk whispers and then gets up.
"I've heard that shit a lot of times." Taehyung utters.
"I mean it though." Jeongguk says.
"You---like it when it's me who calls you doll." Jeongguk says and Taehyung's lips turn into wide grin. The one as if he's won it all.
Taehyung takes a step forward until he's completely infornt of Jeongguk, a little distance between them. There's a victory smile on his lips and a challenge in his eyes as he looks at Jeongguk.
"Jeon Jeongguk, your observing skills are shit." Taehyung utters and Jeongguk bites his lips, his eyes sparkling with an acceptance of the challenge, whatever it was.
Obvious and then not obvious at the same time.
Jeongguk leans forward, his lips close to Taehyung's ear but he's not touching him at all. Just as Taehyung has told him to.
"But you're certainly good at pretending, doll." Jeongguk whispers and the next moment, he steps away. Taehyung takes a deep breath. He doesn't look at Jeongguk.
"And you said that night---how I wanted to own you like everyone else but you're wrong." Jeongguk says and Taehyung challenges him to prove him wrong.
"You'll run towards me yourself, beautiful. I promise you that." Jeongguk utters and Taehyung's lazy gaze is on him.
"I'll see you at Wednesday." Jeongguk says and Taehyung scoffs.
"Of course you want to see me perform for you." Taehyung says.
"You don't know anything about what I want." Jeongguk says.
Taehyung wanted laugh because the other was too confident. But he sure knows how to work with such people.
It's just this mafia boss isn't being open about what he wants from him. But it doesn't matter to Taehyung at all.
"Be careful when you pick them up. It'd be bad to see your pretty hands wounded." Jeongguk says as he points at the broken glass.
"See you, gorgeous." Jeongguk smirks and walks out of the apartment, leaving Taehyung with the broken glass this time.
-----------------------
Taehyung waited but Jeongguk didn't come. He throws himself on the couch, getting tired of waiting but the mafia boss didn't appear and the half hour ended. Taehyung bites on his lips, contemplating why he wouldn't show up.
He remembers Jeongguk saying that he'd love to see him perform but not here. Not in this place.
Then why did he say he'd see him on Wednesday. It had to be for performance because there is no other way they can meet.
