Was life always so dull?

Everything is just repeat vintage movie playing at an old theater with nothing but the same plot playing. With nothing but silence would fill the movie theater, the silent hum echoing while the tape rolls with the same typical plot. Typical really, the girl falls in love with a boy, boy in love then he cheats on her and now girl is heartbroken. And now everything is plain black and white once again.

A repeat in the same old vintage movie with the same old plot starting from beginning to end. It ended the same. So what's the point in searching for something that seem nearly impossible to obtain? Through her eyes only black and white was present, yet in this world once you find love you see the beautiful colors of the world, something everyone craves. Once you have a taste of the colors of the world you crave more. Wanting to feel that joy and appeal of the world. The way the flowers bloomed and the sunsets along with fruits from the trees. Even as simple as the color of the sky did rarely people see the actual color.

But Y/n hasn't been able to see color for a while now. Her eyes dull and held no color. She's seen color yes, but it disappears the moment the boy leaves her. How could she possibly enjoy life with nothing but black and white being present in her eyes? Without color everything seem so dull and colorless. Literally. It left her bitter and no longer have the will to show any emotions. Her eyes held no sparkle nor any happiness. Just dullness. Just how was she supposed to enjoy life without colors? Would she really ever find true love?

Y/n leaned forward on the table, her eyes scanning the book with interest. A pile of books lay next to her and her glasses slowly falling off her nose as her head dipped to the book. Using her index finger to push up her glasses to keep them from falling off her nose. She was just lost in the wonderful land of books. Possibly the only thing she'll get related to color of any sort.

"Y/n."

Y/n blinked, perking her head up with a pout. She already knew who it was. A hand wrapped around her shoulders and leaned their cheek on her head.

"What do you want Joon?" She stared forward blankly, her hands closing the book with a sigh. She once again pushed upwards her glasses.

"What do you mean what do I want? We were suppose to go bike riding today and here you are reading." The said man pouted. Y/n turned her head to face the male. He had ashy blonde hair pulled back and hidden away behind his beanie. Wearing a green sweatshirt and jeans with a light brown strap bag hanged across his chest. He looked extremely comfortable and huggable.

She couldn't necessarily see the green sweatshirt but with the different shade of gray it was she figured it was green. His blonde hair he's been having since she started dating back then and it hasn't changed since then. Besides the minor roots coming back and the blonde slowly fading.
