The demon kept crawling toward us on all four limbs, and I did go along with Zenitsu and run, just because I'm faster.
"How will I know for sure until I have a taste?!"
Its horrifically long tongue tried to strike at us, Zenitsu pulling us all away in time.
"Are you kidding me?! His tongue is like a bolt of lighting!! This has to be a nightmaaare!"
Shoichi was wide awake, running by our side as we did our best to cover him from any attacks. Somehow, the demon's tongue struck me, sending us all into a room through the doors.
"Gah! M-My leg..."
Crap! I surely have a broken bone now!
"AAAAH! Y/N ARE YOU OKAY?!"
Zenitsu tries to go to me, but he's too scared to even move.
"I broke my leg, but I can still fight, somehow!"
I try using my sword to stand, the pain shooting through me, completely unbearable as I collapse down again.
"Zenitsu! You can fight it! This is no time to complain that you're scared!"
Shoichi yelled at him, but to no avail.
"Y/N is hurt and I can't fight a demon! Please, Zenitsu!"
"Grab Y/N and make a run for it! Just leave me, okay?"
"Are you crazy, Zenitsu?!"
I yell at him, feeling another sharp crack in my arm now, the demon's tongue breaking that too.
I scream in pain, half of my body now rendered useless.
"Z-Zenitsu, please! If you made it through Final Selection, then I know you can fight this demon!"
The demon climbed inside the room now, turning its head nearly upside down.
"Hehehe! I'm going to relish in your blood and scoop your brains out through your ears!"
Probably out of fear, Zenitsu fell down and... FELL ASLEEP?! Agh! Damn you and your deathly fear, Zenitsu! I'm gonna kill you after we get out of here!
For now, I'm the only one left who can fight! C'mon, legs... Just... get...
Up..!
The demon crept closer, laughing as I now stood on my broken leg, holding my sword with both arms, ignoring the pain.
"What's up with him~?"
"Stay back! Stay back or else!"
I call out, but now I'm completely rendered useless as it whipped my other leg, the scorching pain of broken bones making me let out a scream yet again as I drop down.
Shoichi managed to drag Zenitsu back and over to me, the fear on his face making me feel even more useless!
It's about to strike and I grab Shoichi down under me to protect him, his only scream being to Zenitsu.
"AAH! Please, wake up, Zenitsu!"
My eyes barely caught the movement, but I can see the cut through the demon's tongue and my eyes widen in surprise.
Zenitsu now slowly got up, holding his arm in front of us to protect us.
"Z-Zenitsu...?"
He steadied himself, tightly holding his sword. I couldn't help but watch in amazement as he began to charge up with lighting, burning some of the floor beneath his feet.
"Thunder Breathing. First Form: Thunderclap and Flash!"
That was all he said before charging towards the demon, his speed absolutely incredible.
