Once they both finished their hot chocolate, Raven and Murphy got out of Arkadia's café and decided to take a walk to the park as it wasn't so late.
Murphy looked at Raven from the corner of his eyes and saw she was slightly shivering, he frowned his eyebrows and took off his jacket to put it on her shoulders. She looked up at him when she felt it on her "you didn't have to do that" she said and chuckled lightly, Murphy smirked "yeah i did, you seemed cold"
Raven left out a laugh "thats because i was stupid enough to leave home without a jacket on a winter night" she shook her head before looking up at him smiling, he was smiling back at her. They were still walking in the park, side by side, wind blowing in Raven's hair, the cold hitting their skin. A quite comfortable silence settled between the two of them for a few minutes before Murphy broke it "so where are we going? i don't really feel like going home..." at this, Raven gave him a what do you mean look so he continued after letting out a sigh "i just don't wanna come home to my drunk, passed out mom is all" and hearing this, Raven's heart skipped a beat, she too had a alcoholic mother who barely acknowledged her existence. She gave him a knowing look and replied "i know what thats like" slightly sighing and continued "my mom's not home right now, she's at her abusive boyfriend's...so i guess we could go to mine". Murphy gave Raven a sad smile and boldly put his arm around her cause why the fuck not, it's cold. So they got back to Murphy's car and drove to Raven's house.
