The Robot: Boogie Machine of Doom

Part III

KEVIN: No, I'm going out there. I'm not letting her die. This could be my one real chance at love and I'm not gonna just sit and watch her get shot down by an android.

CHRIS: Kevin you're insane. You're gonna get yourself killed out there.

KEVIN: And if I die, I die.

CHRIS: Kevin, no!! We need you on keys!

KEVIN dramatically looks back: I know.

KEVIN leaps out of the car, and puts the earplugs in. Intense music is playing. This is gonna be epic. He pulls out a gun and waves it around.

KEVIN: Hey! Over here you big hunk of metal! Big metal hunk! Hunky metal guy!

LYLA: Kevin!!

KEVIN: Don't worry, sweetie, it'll be okay.

The robot switches his attention to KEVIN, where KEVIN starts shooting. Closeup of a bullet bouncing off of the robot's thick, metal armor.

KEVIN: Oh no! It's bulletproof. What now!

The robot laughs: "ha ha ha." and KEVIN drops his gun. He runs full speed ahead to the robot, and punches it in the face. The robot stumbles, but shakes it off. The robot swings a punch at KEVIN, and KEVIN falls to the floor. The robot laughs again using the same sound. KEVIN tries to get away while on the floor, still weak.

KEVIN: Please, Mr. Robot-

The robot falls to the floor, and we see LYLA standing behind him with her fist out. Nice going, Lyla.

KEVIN: Babe!!!! That was AMAZING!

LYLA: What can I say, I-

All of a sudden, a laser shoots through LYLA, killing her. She collapses to the floor.

KEVIN: Noooooooooooooo!!!!!! Whyyyyyyyy!!!

The robot laughs again: "ha ha ha." KEVIN is pissed. Completely ticked off. T-O'd. The robot gets up, and brushes himself off. KEVIN stands up, and eyes down the robot with a major, intense death stare. They stand apart from each other, like a Western draw. They look at each other for a good amount of time, until:

KEVIN: Why you...

KEVIN runs forward, furious. He starts beating the crap out of this robot dude. The robot falls to the floor, and KEVIN takes a deep breath. He rips open the back of it, and pulls out the wires. It's dead. CHRIS comes running to the scene, just in time.

CHRIS: Jesus dude, you were awesome out there.

KEVIN: Yeah. Thanks.

CHRIS: Sorry about Kyla. You guys seemed good together.

KEVIN doesn't respond.

CHRIS: Look at this robot, man. This puppy is sweet.

KEVIN: This puppy just killed my girlfriend.

CHRIS: So? We gotta take this thing back and take a closer look at it.

They drag the robot into the trunk of their car, and they head back home. What a day.

SCENE 13 -

They arrive at CHRIS'S house, and they set the robot down on the table. CHRIS plugs a USB cord into it, and connects it to his computer.

CHRIS: I need to access the mainframe and download all of this encrypted information.

ERIKA: How long is this going to take? We don't have much time.
