if there's one thing
I feel utterly sorry for
it's this gentle heart of mine
which goes through
as much turbulence
as a storm would cause
yet never fail to believe
that the love it needs
exists in its entirety
and truthfulness
in another destined soul
and so, I ask my mind

as desperately as tomorrow
