Nothing Better (NarutxReader)

1. Lets go!!

I woke up to the sound of my mom yelling at me to get up for school. I sleep dead so I don't see the point of having an alarm clock while I've got mom.

I checked the clock above my door to see that it was now 6:56 a.m.
I usually get up at 7 to get ready for school that starts at 8:45.

"I've got 4 minutes left" I mumbled to myself while going back to sleep. Unfortunately for me, I could hear the door of my room opening and knowing my mom I just knew she was coming to check if I was still sleeping.

I took a shower, brushed my teeth and put on my clothes.

I brushed my long black hair that reached just below my hips into a high ponytail. And went downstairs to pack what I needed for today.

"Bye mom, bye Emma," I shouted half way through the door,

"Bye sweety," Mom called back, "Bye Ashleen!" My little sister shouted from the kitchen probably eating Lucky Charms cereal which seems to be her favorite now.

As I was about to leave for my third and last school year at college, my phone rang.

"Girl where are you!?" Gianna yelled through the phone. She's one of my best friends from school and obviously the inpatient one.

"I'm on my way out now," I said to her calmly as I walked to my car hoping she would calm down knowing I'm about to leave so I subconsciously held my breath.

"Ok then hurry and meet us at the gate," I sighed a breath of relief when she calmed down. We usually meet at the gate each year before school so we could all walk together to make sure we're all in the same classes.
"Ok ok! I won't be late," I hung up the phone and started my car. I drove out the garage and I was on my way.

On the way there I decided to buy something to eat since I didn't at home. I parked the car at the supermarket not that far from school and walked inside. I got what I wanted and went to the cashier, after I gave her the cash a stood there waiting for my change as patiently as possible knowing I could be late if I didn't leave now. And to make my day worse the cashier threw the change on the counter instead of putting it in my hand I would have cussed her out if it weren't for me wanting to meet my friends early. I rolled my eyes and walked away without saying a thank you as I usually did.

I met my friends at the gate (immediately lightening my mood) talking about something only God he knows what. "Hey guys!," I said with a grin on my face

"Hey!!" They all said in unison giving me hug. I have 5 best friends, Gianna, Kayaan, Jaliece, Nellah and Mia. We do everything together.

We talked about how we spent our summer on the days when we weren't together and it was mostly about watching new anime series.

Seeing that we took up too much time Gianna said "We need to go now," We walked through the gates of Campton College knowing everything will be different from now on.

We all made sure we were in the same classes and unfortunately Jaliece and Mia were in different classes so we would only be able to see them at lunch or when we had time off.

We were doin our usual introductions that we did each year. I sat at the back of the class with Gianna in front of me, Kay beside of me and Nel by my other side. We don't have classes on the first day so all we do is see which classes were in, collect our time tables, get to know our teachers and our classmates and try to make friends.......which I don't need because I already got enough.

"This is so drawn out," I complained to Kay as a boy stood up to go to the front of the class to introduce himself.

"I know right, ugghh" she said with her head on her desk half asleep.
