Tibet (Poem)

Tibet beautifully sits, in Himalayas lap

Autonomous or captured, it sways in the gap.

In 1951, China made a territorial claim

The entire region, burst into a dreadful flame.

With a heavy heart, Dalai Lama bid Tibet adieu

Soon in Patola Palace, gloominess blew.

Great Leap Forward, heartlessly 1000000 Tibetans killed

Cultural Revolution destroyed 6000 monasteries, with love they had built.

Now, self-immolations have been a norm

With ‘Free Tibet’ agenda, protestors on the roads swarm.

China argues, Tibet as its part is progressing well

Tibet choice is yours- freedom or do you want to excel?
