Chapter 2: the entrance

"Wake up! It's a big day!" Jacob said while shaking me. "I'm so sad I can't go with you, but mr. Wonka will look after you!" He said grabbing the outfit we chose yesterday. "Thank you, I'll tell you all about it!" I said hugging him.
"I have to go now! Bye!" He said rushing out of my room before I could say anything. I put on the clothes we picked out, a white shirt with a very dark blue jacket, a black skirt with white stockings underneath and my black shoes.
I comb my hair and brush my teeth. I go downstairs and my mom already made a sandwich for me, but she was still in bed. I eat it quick, drink some milk and rush to the factory. I make it in time while all the others were already there. I stand next to that veruca girl, the way she got the ticket! A lot off people really searched, she just let her dad handle it! The rest did search but seem brats except for Charlie, he looks as a kind boy. Veruca glares at me and walked around me standing on the other side, she pushed towards Charlie and yelled at her father: "Make time go faster!" Then she mumbled somethings and glared at Charlie and his grandpa. "I would like if you stopped glaring at people, it's quite rude." I said turning to her. "Daddy! Make her go away!" She yelled at her dad. Before he could say anything a loud voice said:"OPEN THE GATES" I looked back at the crowd of people, no I know is there. "PLEASE ENTER" the voice said again and We all run through the gates. "COME FORWARD" the loud voice said and we all started walking. "CLOSE THE GATES" and the gates closed again. For the rest i didnt really pay attention i was looking at the factory, so big and black. It's kinda creepy but I'll just go with it. Almost by the stairs, doors opened dramatically and showed a show with puppets? It's a factory! Why would it have a puppet show?! for the big day I guess. At the end, fireworks come out and the dolls catch on fire.
I giggle at the sight of them burning and melting, I always liked seeing things burn and melt.
Like a candle, it makes everything romantic or cozy. Everyone was looking strangely at me because I was giggling. Only mike smirked a little. "Wasn't that just magnificent? I was worried it was getting dodgy in the middle part, but then that finale..." Said a man, he was wearing a black jacket over a red jacket and a top hat. He was laughing a bit. "Wow!" And he finished his sentence. "Who are you?" Violet said still chewing her chewing gum. I don't really like chewing gum, i can't even make a bubble! "He's Willy wonka!" Charlie's grandfather said. Willy wonka walks up to the top of the stairs and says: "hello sunshine, the earth says hello!" And we all stand there awkwardly, he quickly grabs some cards out off his pocket and reads. I feel shivers go down my spine, I feel like I'm being looked at. I looked around but see no one looking...strange. Willy wonka invites us inside and we follow him. "Just Throw you're jackets on the floor"
Willy wonka said and throws off his jacket and glasses. Everyone tosses there jackets onto the floor, I hesitate but just I throw it away. "Hi there!" Charlie said to me, I didnt notice i was beside him. "Hi!" I said and waved. I kinda was lost in my thought but Suddenly violet hugs mr wonka, making him uncomfortable. It catches my attention. "I'm violet beauregarde!" She said chomping on her gum with a wide fake smile. "I don't care." Willy wonka said while walking. "Well, you should because I'm gonna win that prize at the end!" Violet said walking beside him. "You seem confident and confident is key!" He said walking faster. "I'm veruca salt! Veruca said jumping infront off Willy wonka. "I always though a veruca was a kind of wart on the bottom of your foot." He said and then laughed a bit. "I'm augustus gloop! I love your chocolate!" Augustus said while taking a big bite off his chocolate. "Didn't know we had so much in common" Willy wonka said and he turns around. "You, you must be mike teavee!" He said pointing at him.
"The little devil that hacked the system." He said, then he looked over to Charlie. "Your just lucky to be here." He said then he looked at me. "You must be y/n! Where is your p-" he said and had a hard time saying parent. "Parent?" I asked him tilting my head. "Yeah that....but where's is he or she?" he asked confused. "My mom refused and my brother is allergic to chocolate." I said looking a bit down. "Can She join one off you? Then I can just give the tour." Willy wonka said looking at the parents. "We'll take her!" Mike said and raised his hand. "Thank you, lets go on!" Willy wonka said and started walking again.
"I'm mike." He said looking over at me. "I'm y/n." I said smiling. We reached the end off the hallway and end at a small door. "Why is the door so small?" Mike asked looking at the door. "To keep all the chocolate flavor inside." He said and opened the door.
