My eyes shut and I feel the hard ground against me once I collapse, soon falling asleep.

I woke up in a bed, Tanjiro gently wiping my tears while Miss Tamayo worked on healing me.

"Y/N! You're awake!"
Tanjiro was glad to see me, and I felt the aftershock of everything, accepting what I'd learned.

"Are you hurt badly?"

He avoids my question.
"I'm fine! Are you okay? You've been asleep for a while."

"Doesn't matter, I need to know you're fine."

He sighs and nods, giving me a pitying smile.

Miss Tamayo continued to heal me, the dim glow of the water illuminating my skin.
"Nezuko. Where's Nezuko?"
I ask.

Upon hearing her name, Nezuko popped up in my field of vision, running close to my side as she stared at me.

"You're okay, Nezuko."
I smile, patting her head.
"That's good. I'm glad you're both okay."

"I've managed to fix your broken bones, and most of the damage in your body. But I'm deeply concerned about the blocks of energy you caused yourself.

I sit up, listening to Miss Tamayo.

"The stress you've experienced has caused you to shut down. Your body will heal on its own, and this process can be sped up by using spirit water, which I unfortunately don't have, so it will take a while."

"That's alright. I appreciate everything you've done to heal me, Miss Tamayo."

"Would you three mind giving us some space?"
She softly speaks, Yushiro and Tanjiro leaving the room, Nezuko refusing to do so.

She decided it must've been alright for Nezuko to remain, because she spoke up.
"It's been quite a long time, Avatar."

"Y-You know?!"
I'm nervous, was it that easy to tell?

"I've healed one of your past lives before. The Avatar State is what gave you away."
She told me to sit up, applying some type of ointment on my bruises.

"I'm thankful to have met you. Knowing you're determined to bring balance to the world once more is a comforting thought."

"I'm not so sure... I've not been of much help at all. I couldn't save anyone."

"You'll never be able to save everyone. I've lost many patients in my life, I understand. You need to focus on those who have a fighting chance. It's cruel sometimes, but it sadly is this way."
She smiled at me gently, cleaning her hands.

"But you are a beacon of hope for everyone. I'm sure you'll do as excellent as you always have."

Her words were of little comfort, but they did ease my stress.

She did a final checkup on me before allowing me to leave with Tanjiro, providing us with a water pouch.

"Whenever one of you gets injured, use this. It's water that I have modified to boost cell regeneration in humans for a short period of time."
