She grit her teeth and reeled back, covering her ears and turning away.
The noise was deafening, like ten radio stations blaring at full volume inside her head - the others were lost on her as their minds wouldn't shut up!
Words barely broke through and she began to feel sick as all of their thoughts rushed to her at once. A hand placed on her back and a few words broke through the chaos.
'Evangeline-'
'Five-'
'Wheres Evange-'
'Is she seing this...'
But her mind suddenly went reeling and she blinked rapidly, turning.
One word repeated in her mind like a broken record.

Evangeline went slack and her hands dropped to her sides when she saw what all of the others were gawking at.
Her hand blindly wiped the blood from her face, eyes watering for a whole other reason now.
A single voice pierced into her head, a single one worded thought in a voice she had almost forgotten that could have brought her to her knees.
