He chuckled. She looked up to see the reaction on his face. He was not angry. He was just amused. He wonder how much his mother had said to Lola.

"What else did she tell you about me?" He asked as he put a fork of vegetable salad in his mouth.

"She told me about some stuff you did when you were little and some of the food you don't like." She answered. And she smiled remembering the memory when his mother was telling her about him.

He thought about how his mother got to trust and like Lola in just a short while that they met. She even tells her things about him. Which shows how much she trusts and like Lola.

"What about you?" He asked. "Tell me about you?"

Since she knew a little about him, he thought it was better if he know more about the lady that had been in his life for the past weeks. It makes them equal. You can't compare a research record to a personal description.

She looked amazed that he want to know about her. Maybe he wants to make a conversation. She thought. And she told him.

"Well, you know my father. I have a brother and two cousins that are practically my children." She chuckled. "Their mother is dead and we do not know their father so they are my and my father's responsibility. I'm from Osun state and I learned fashion design as handwork and I dream to become a great fashion designer with my clothing brands like Coco Channel, Christian Dior, Gianna Versace and Oscar de Vestas. Those people are my role models in fashion."

"That's impressive. But how do you think you can achieve that?" He asked. He was curious to hear her answer.

She seems to think about it. "It's a big dream. I know that very much. But I know I can achieve it. I just have to keep believing and work hard to achieve it. A forest doesn't grow in a day. It doesn't matter if it happens in five years, ten years or when I'm forty as long as I can achieve it. I will just keep working hard, believing and never give up." She answered and she looked at him to see if her answer meet his expectations.

He was impressed with the answers. He asked again. "So what do you like doing?" He asked.

He enjoyed listening to her. It's like he was knowing another person.

"Sewing. And watching movies. I also like talking. Chatting with people. My father trained us to be free and outspoken. He build good communication in the family and so I developed my habit of talking. And I like it. It has its charm." She said.

Demilade was just staring at her. Even the girl knows she talks too much. He thought.

"You are an o'level leaver. What do you plan to do about your education?"

"I still want to go back to school." She said sadly. "I always dream of going to a fashion school either in London or Italy." She chuckles sadly. "But it is a big dream. My father can't afford that. It can hardly come true. But I can gain admission to a federal university. I have once been admitted to the University of Benin. But I had to drop out because my dad could not meet up to the deadline for payment. And they were no one to help." She said with a sad smile.

She still feels sad whenever she remembers it but she had accepted her fate a long time ago.

He didn't know that she had once been admitted into the university. He didn't know that her family are going through such a thing. Mr Bamidele happened to be a quiet man. He won't talk unless pushed to the end. If he had told him his problems he will have tried to help his family.
