Chapter 1 (The beginning)

(I got inspired by my two friends who have written story's, so if anything is similar to what they put as a just in case I'll be giving credit to them now. Go read Y3ssist3rs's story and StitchIzBestBoi's story they're my two friends who inspired me so yeah!) (Anyways let's get into the story that might be good might be bad I'm not so sure, but I hope you guys like it either way!) (I wanted to say thank you to Y3ssist3rs for helping me edit this so yea)

    "So are we going for a walk tomorrow Clarissa?" I asked. "Yes we are Esperanza don't worry I remember we go every weekend, so obviously I won't forget." "EEEEEEEEEE I can't wait to see you again this weekend!" I said. "Me neither Esperanza only one day left until we see each other again so calm down the day is almost over." "Seeing Clarissa again seems like a good idea and mostly since we have been going through a few problems these past few days." "I know that we both love each other as friends and sisters but I'm not so sure if our friendship can be saved unless we talk." I thought. "Clarissa and I have a problem since we're always jealous of each other." I then took my phone and started to text Clarissa again for no reason. We spent the whole night texting until Clarissa said "I need to go to sleep. I'm tired, tomorrow will be a big day for us since we're going to be walking a lot." "GO TO SLEEP ESPERANZAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!" "Fine Clarissa I'll go to sleep." "Good night Clarissa!" "Good night Esperanza!"   
    PAPAPAPAPAPAPAPAPAPAA GOOD MORNING! "Ugh my alarm is the best but I don't want to get up still," I thought. Today I am going to see Clarissa again YAY! Finally, we can come to a conclusion and save our friendship. I text Clarissa "Good morning sleepy head" "Good morning Esperanza you sure are in a good mood today lol." says Clarissa. "Well, obviously I get to see you today lol." "Get ready so we can see each other sooner, Clarissa." "Fine woman, then stop texting meeee so I can hurry up." "Ok, I will Clarissa." Esperanza walked to Clarissa's house so they can go on their walk. "I'm at your house Clarissa, open up." "I'm coming, let me just put my shoes on." Clarissa and I began walking to the mall near our houses that we go to very often, almost every weekend.

Esperanza's POV

I start getting nervous about the talk I'm planning on having with her. She's so nice and I love her. I'm just jealous of everything she does and has. Clarissa is always going to be better than me but she keeps denying it and I hate it. Right now I don't like how she prefers to act all rich and stuff like stop showing off, stop making me more jealous of what you have and I don't. I know we live really close to each other but she comes from a wealthy family and I don't. I've always been the poor one out of all of my friends. Clarissa can literally have anything she wants compared to me. I can't. I only have a little bit of money that I can spend on every walk we have. I also don't want to ask her for money or else it's rude and disrespectful to me. She has everything I ever wanted so why should she be complaining.

Clarissa's POV

Esperanza is just amazing. She has everything she's happy with her family and has amazing friends who actually care about her and love her unlike me. I don't even get along with my own family nor my friends. There are times that she says that I have everything and that I should be happy with what I have and appreciate it. What she doesn't know is that my money means nothing to me. Money doesn't equal happiness, but even the smallest acts of kindness would make me happy just not money. My friends never showed me that they cared much about me so as she says I'm more of a rich loner that'll be nothing without her and it is kind of true. All of my "friends'' wanted me because of my money and not because of who I am. Esperanza was the only one who didn't care about how much money I had or didn't have. I'm just hoping that she stays my bestie forever because I genuinely love her and care about her.   
    "We finally got to the mall Clarissa, want to go buy something to drink?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm tired and thirsty after the long walk here," Clarissa said. "Let's gooo!" We got to a little place where they sell drinks. "What would you like today Esperanza and Clarissa?" "The same beverage as always Mr. Ranz lemonade," I say. "They'll be prepared right away, ladies." "Thank you Mr. Ranz you're the best." we both say. Mr. Ranz is a nice guy. He's tall, he has brown hair, hazel eyes, and he's skinny surprisingly since everyone around this area isn't. "Here is your lemonade Esperanza and here is your's Clarissa just how both of you guys like them!" Mr. Ranz said. "Thank you so much Mr. Ranz you're the best!" we both say. We sit down and enjoy our lemonade before starting to go shopping for our first day of school tomorrow.
    "Hey, Clarissa, can we talk?" I ask. "Of course we can Esperanza what's up?" said Clarissa. "Well, I really wanted to tell you what I have been thinking lately like my head has been all over the place since I'm scared to lose you. I just want to confirm that we're good and that no matter what we will never leave each other even after I tell you how I feel." I said "I will never leave you Esperanza you know how I don't have anyone other than you since everyone else is a gold digger. I promise you that no matter what you have to say I will always accept you and try to understand where you're coming from so we can avoid conflict okee. You know that I love you and you're like a sister to me so there is no reason for me to leave you or anything like that so believe me please." "I do believe you and I love you too. I just feel like something is getting in our way. We keep fighting and getting mad at each other for dumb things that we shouldn't be fighting over I just want what's going on between us to stop. I don't want to lose your sister since you're one of my only friends." "You're not going to lose me sister nothing will ever make us stop being sisters I promise and if something is getting in our way then talk to me so I know what it is and maybe I can help you or change I don't know just say what you have to say," Clarissa said. We start walking into the store and check out some clothes for tomorrow. "Ok so I feel like I should tell you now, you're being greedy and you just want to make me feel bad since you're always just showing off how much money you have compared to me. I don't have much money and you know that. You just always need to be bragging about everything and acting so rich like you have the money of the world and then you're like I'm not happy like GIRL you have MONEY and not only a little bit A LOT of MONEY so stop being so depressed when you can literally buy yourself anything and make yourself happy. I wish I could have the money you have so I can be happy and not poor and depressed like I am now." I said. We keep looking around for clothes when Clarissa starts talking "Ok Esperanza what you need to understand is that money isn't everything and I don't show off my money at all you're the one always making a huge deal about everything and saying that I am showing off when all I do is just showing you things I bought NOT ONLY FOR ME BUT FOR THE 2 OF US. Most of the things I buy aren't only for me there for you and me to share since we're sisters we share our stuff ya know. So please stop saying that I keep showing off and that things like that when I'm really not it's just that since you know how I have a lot of money you start assuming things and in your own world you make up things that aren't real lol. I also promise you that everything I ever say and do is not to make you feel bad about anything you're amazing the way you are Esperanza and I love you for you I don't care how much money you have or don't have I love you for being Esperanza, MY SISTER!" "So you never mean to do anything to hurt me or make me feel bad about the amount of money I have?" I said. "Of course not Esperanza you're my little sister and you know what my money is now your money as well if that's what you want you can use my money to buy yourself things or like me to buy things for the 2 of us," Clarissa said. "Ooooo this shirt is prettyyyy try it on I think it would look perfect on you Esperanza." "Ok, I will wait." I come out and Clarissa is waiting for me right outside. "Yup I told you it would look nice on you, we're buying it put it in the cart sissy." We kept looking for clothes and bought what we thought looked nice for our first day of school tomorrow. "Ugh, I don't want you to leave hmmm what if we have a sleepover? Ask your parents if you can stay here at mine Esperanza." "Okee I will ask my parents I'll be right back." "Ok soooo I called my parents and they said THAT I CAN STAAYYYY they'll just come over to bring my stuff but I can stayyyyy Clarissa I'm soooo happyyyy! We're going to have a fun night!" "Yaayyy!" said Clarissa. We spent almost the whole night talking, watching movies, and having fun and had at least 3 hours of sleep until we had to wake up for school.
    PAPAPAPAPAPAPAPAPAPAA GOOD MORNING! "Ugh is it seriously time for school I don't wanna goo Clarissaaa." "But we have to Esperanza look we're going together so what is there to worry about and either way we have the same classes so we'll spend the whole day together no matter what." "Fine, I'll get ready." "Put on that shirt that we bought yesterday I loved the way it looked on you!" "I will Clarissa don't worry," I said. We got to school and saw a bunch of people with some new faces but mostly the same old faces every year. We were walking around the hallways looking for our first-period class when I saw a cute guy walking by. He was tall, with black hair and dyed blonde tips, he had pretty grey eyes. "Clarissa, did you just see that guy?" I asked. "Of course I did, he's hot don't you think?" "He sure is but just so you know I saw him first so he's mine." "Excuse me he's mine I saw him before you did you were looking for our class and not at him so I'm sorry sis but mine, not yours," said Clarissa. "Oh, then why don't we have a competition to see who can be his girlfriend first, you or me who would he like and no cheating Clarissa." "Deal?" "Deal, Esperanza just wait until I crush your little dreams to be with him ha bye see you in class."
