“Oh dear, Don't stress yourself too much” my grandma worriedly said to my father

“I'm not mom, I'm fine” my father smiled

My grandma sighed as she knew that my father was lying, He isn't fine, Who would be fine after being left by the one you love more than your life?

My father kneeled in front of me, and tuck the strand of hair behind my ear

“Gretchen, Be good okay?I will be back in 3 months got it?” he smiled

I smiled as well too “Yes father” He gave me a tight hug then bid a goodbye

“Now now, Butler Chain kindly escort my little princess to her room” My grandma commanded

“As you wish Madame” the butler bowed in front of her then escorted me to my room

As we arrived, I was astounded by the room, It's big, It's like our whole house already!

“Lady Gretchen, Feel free to ring the bell if you need anything” Butler Chain said as he points the bell button beside the light switch

“I will thank you” I said then bowed, He bowed as well and excuses his self out of my room

I closed the door and lay on my king sized bed, I stare at the ceiling with sorrow and loneliness, Until my eyes began to weight heavy and decided to sleep

“Right, My father left me here” I whisper to myself

I stood up and open the window, Such wonderful garden I can view from here, Grandma's house is really the best!It's like you're living in a fairytale!

But before I left, I arranged and cleaned my room, and then left

I'm Gretchen Deinah Carson, 8 years old, The only daughter of Gina and Kiro Carson, And the only grand daughter of Grandma Elisa. I have no relatives other than my grandma, I don't have cousins too!Both of my parents are only child too and so as my grandparents, Though my grandparents on my father's side died, and my grandfather of my mother's side died, So I only have Grandma Elisa

But anyways, My Mom, Died last year because of her cancer, stage 4, I was just 7 by that time, Ofcourse it breaks my heart, But I have to be tough for my dad who has been suffering depression for almost two years now, Ever since my mom died he busys his self with a lot of work

But then this year he decided that every summer I should be staying at my grandma's, And when the school year starts he will get me, He said he doesn't want to worry me

Sometimes I just wish that I'm adult already, I want to be an architect already to help my Father, And I always dreamed of being at architect since it was one of my moms dreams, And little did I know I wanted to become one too

“Lady Gretchen what are you doing here?” One of the maid asked as I arrived in the kitchen
