Virgil used the "Jaws of life" as it was nicknamed to move away the branches that crushed your leg, they had successfully put out the fire beforehand.

"Scott she's unconscious," Virgil spoke, hiding the worry in his voice as he slipped out of the frame.

He piloted two to the clearing near-by, carefully picking you up and carried you over and into the medbay.

"Scott?"

".:-;.;:"

"Scotty?"

Virgil only received static again, Scott was testing out a prototype and it had some faults, most the comm system.

Virgil sighed and set you down gently on the bed, giving you an oxygen mask as he ran the standard tests, a high intake of CO2, possibly why you had past out.

He cleaned your leg before carefully lining up the broken bone, giving you a sympathetic look as you flinched gently.

He knew what having a broken leg felt like, he had one after the car crash when he was 16... isn't fun.

Once in place he carefully bandaged you up before adding the cast, scaring him out of his skin when you woke up coughing.

"Easy, Easy.." he soothed taking off your mask and rubbing your back gently, carefully helping you lay back down once your coughing ceased.

"My leg hurts..." you whined quietly, Virgil nodded and looked through some boxes.

"It will, the branch crushed and broke you leg, aha found them. Here, take these," he smiled and laid the paracetamols on the table while heading to the side of the bed where the water were, pouring you a cup so you could take them.

You happily did so, popping them in and taking a sip of the water before swallowing, already feeling the effects meant they were pretty strong.

"Thank you,"

"It's alright," he smiled, "my name's Virgil,"

"Y/n," you smiled back, Scott had appeared moments later, annoyed at the prototype helmet.

"You alright?" He asked, you smiled softly and nodded as a reply.

"I didn't know have a broken leg meant you're okay," Virgil teased, not looking up from the holo pad.

Scott snorted in amusement and helped you lean against the wall closest to the bed. "Which Hospital Are we taking you too?"

"Any will be fine, I tend to travel a lot so I don't really stay in one spot for a while,"

"Alright, do you wanna come in one and I can take you there?" Virgil looked up from the tablet and glared at his older brother.

"I'm okay," you blushed shyly, noticing the glare he was given, Virgil smirked and looked back down to the tablet.

"You sure?"

"I'm sure."

Scott left the two of you alone, the engines of one starting and faded into the distance.

"You stayed?"

"Yeah, you seemed pissed when he suggested that," you giggled, Virgil blushed madly.

"You uh... you saw that?"

"Yeah, it was cute." Virgil couldn't blush any darker, a small smile appeared on his face as you giggled.

"Oh be quiet," he grinned and kissed your cheek, now it was your turn to blush.

"Do you wanna sit in the cockpit or are you happy in here?" He asked with a smile.

"I don't mind,"

"Come in then," he grinned and picked you up making you squeak as he carried you into the cockpit and sat you down carefully in the co-pilot seat.

"Thanks," you grinned, Virgil smiled back and shrugged, sitting in the pilot seat.

"Tracy island okay?"

"Seriously!" You asked, a giant smile on your face.

"Yeah," Virgil laughed struggling to hide the blush that had crept its way back on his cheeks.

You squealed happily, you would've hugged him tightly but you couldn't exactly stand up.

It didn't take too long to get to tracy island, Virgil had notified his brothers, father and grandma about your arrival.

"Don't mind gordon and Alan... they like to wind everyone up," he smiled and picked you up, carrying you out of the pod doors and to the medbay, picking up some crutches so you could get around without him carrying you.

Virgil lead you back to the main room, the Lowered seating area only slightly filled, Jeff, Scott and Alan being the only ones there other than you and Virgil.

Scott and Alan were too busy being competitive with eachother on a game to notice both of you arriving.

His father did, you smiled and introduced yourself to him. "Nice to meet you y/n, Virgil told me what happened,"

After everyone had settled down about your arrival, Virgil snuck you down to the beach away from his chaotic younger brothers.

"I hope they didn't bother you too much, they mean no harm but heck if they don't know how to shut up sometimes," Virgil smiled and helped you sit down on the sand.

"It's alright, not many people do talk to me, it's a nice change,"

Virgil fell silent and sat next to you, looking out over the ocean, the waves crashing on the shore.

You couldn't help but glance at him every now and then, the way the fading sun danced and showed off his godly facial structure, his milky brown eyes lightened because of the sun, the pink hue on his cheeks- wait what?

Virgil noticed you glancing over at him, he couldn't help but blush. "What?" He smiled and turned to face you, leaning on his elbows as he did so.

You blushed and looked the opposite way, too shy to face him. You felt a pair of strong arms wrap around your waist and pulled onto his lap, he was still gentle and careful of your broken leg.

"Y/n..?"

"Yeah?" You blushed and looked up to him, his cheeks were beet red by this point. His hand rested on your chin, holding your face still enough for him to kiss you.

It was surprising and you definitely enjoyed it, but ended all to quickly for you to give any of the affection back.

"I-I'm Sorry.." he turned away, you smiled softly, tilting his head back up to face you, gently returning the affection.

He smiled against your lips and returned the favour, happily wrapping his strong arms around you.

You both pulled away to breathe, a pink hue dusted on both your cheeks.

"I love you Y/n,"

"I love you too virgil." You both shared a sweet kiss, missing the click of a camera his grandma were holding, she knew Virgil would do anything to keep you by his side.
