I think early 2018 ko nadiscover ang story na 'to? To be honest, sa una, nung nakita ko yung bilang ng characters, naghesitate akong basahin kasi nga ang dami nila. Makakabisado ko ba lahat ng mga mukha at pangalan nila? 😂 Pero I got really interested sa kung ano ang magiging takbo ng story kasi nga hello? 18 leading men jusko paano kaya ang gagawin ni Ms. A? Tsaka nakita ko si Mark Tuan sa characters kaya lezgerirown.

Sa una, habang nagbabasa, nalilito ako kung sino ba si ganito, anong itsura niya, kaya sa tuwing makakalimutan ko kung sino ang portrayer ng specific character, binabalik-balikan ko yung character profile. Tsagaan lang 'yan. 😂 Makakabisado niyo rin sila (lalo na kung multi kayo sa kpop hahahah).

18 times sa drama at 18 times sa kilig! I really love how the author wrote this story because every single one of them, 18 leading men, were given their own chapters that highlighted them as individuals and their love for Michelle so hands down to Ms. A for that dedication and effort! Another thing that amazed me is the diversity of the characters (not just only the leads) in terms of nationality, and I think that really helped to emphasize Empire Academy as a school for the elites.

I also like the special chapters that offered the readers a place to breathe to rest themselves for awhile from the roller coaster emotions given by the main plot.

Although the characters had their own chapters to highlight themselves, there were these specific characters that really stood out for me aside from the main lead (well maybe because Ms. A obviously and purposely highlighted them more than the others 😂). Sila ang nagbigay ng definition sa 2nd/3rd/4th/so on, so forth lead syndrome. Hoy wag na kayong magulat kung bakit umabot sa 4th. 18 leading men ang inoffer, alangan namang sa 2nd lead ka lang magswerve?! 😂

Pero seryoso, napaswerve talaga ako dito and at some point, winish ko na "sana si ganito na lang ang makatuluyan ni Michelle. ㅍㅅㅍ".

Grabe yung atake nito sa'kin noon kaya halos araw-araw chinecheck ko ang notif ko kung may update na ba. 😂 Iyon nga lang, (story time alert!) halos isang taon rin akong naghiatus sa wattpad kaya natigil din akong magbasa nito. ㅍㅅㅍ  Hanggang sa wala akong magawa dahil ilang araw na rin kaming walang internet. 😂 So ayun, binuksan ko yung app at isa sa bumungad sa'kin ang 18RLOTE. Completed na pala siya. Hindi naman ako papayag na ang isa sa stories na kinababaliwan ko noon eh hindi ko tatapusin.

Wag kayong maintimidate sa almost 200 chapters. Sabi nga ni Ms. A, parang 2in1 na ang 18RLOTE. 2 books in 1...uhh...book?

18RLOTE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. I PROMISE. As I've said, 18x sa drama, 18x sa kilig!

Marami pa akong gustong sabihin pero tatapusin ko na dito dahil ang haba na pala ng note ko. 😂 Ah basta, thank you Miss Maxielinda for this great story! Hindi lang butterflies in the stomach ang dala nito! Sabi nga ni Hailee Steinfeld "Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn zoo."

P.S. Dapat talaga dati ko pa 'to isasali dito sa Must Reads pero ang iniisip ko kasi ay patapusin ko muna ang story bago ko gawin iyon para maibuhos talaga lahat ng emosyon ko dito. Took me a long time but here it is!
