(Warning: Expect for a very long note for this one. When I say it's a very long note, then it is VERY LONG.)

Anyway, if you're looking for a thriller/mystery story with a splash of kilig~, then Detective Files must be the right one for you! I LOVE IT!

Obviously, this is a detective story where the lead character (with her team) goes out on adventures to find the truths that lie deep within each mystery. Expect murders, suicide, kidnapping, and other forms of crimes in the story.

There is one particular case na sinolve nila and it was so familiar to me kasi may napanood akong similar case na gano'n sa TV. It was also a Japanese detective series na napanood ko sa AXN pero nakalimutan ko na yung title eh. So ayun, nang mabasa ko yung case nila, inexpect ko na na "ganon" nga yung nangyari.

Doon kasi sa napanood ko sa TV, akala din ng mga nakatira sa bahay ay aswang or nababaliw na yung babae kasi kinagat niya tapos sinipsipan pa niya ng dugo yung anak niya, which is baby palang kaya ayun, nilayo nila yung baby doon sa babae. Pero napag-alaman ng detective na kaya niya pala ginawa yun dahil nilason ng batang lalake ang baby (long story) kaya't sinubukang sipsipin iyon ng babae (yung nanay) para hindi na kumalat pa yung lason sa katawan ng baby. Wala lang~ Nakakatuwa lang~ >.<

BUT.

Yes. BUT, other than crimes and solving mysteries, LOTS and LOTS of twists ang ibibigay pa ng Detective Files.

I will enumerate the things na pinakanagustuhan ko sa story:

1. The girl protagonist
Yeah, I like Amber. I want to be Amber, to be honest. Nasa kanya na yata ang lahat eh. Matapang, matalino, and she values her family and friends more than anything else. Well, except sa pagiging impulsive niya, that's a BIG NO.

2. Jeremy and Math's cat-dog relationship
GRABE. This is a suspense/thriller/mystery story but Jeremy and Math's fighting scenes give the story lighter feels~ Natatawa talaga ako sa bangayan nilang dalawa! As in! Yung pambabara ni Jeremy kay Math, tapos eto namang si Math, parang clueless naman. Idagdag pa yung mga puns ni Jeremy! Ako lang ba ang tumatawa kapag nagjojoke siya? >.<

3. The leading MEN
Yes. Men. Marami sila. Natisod nga ako kanina kasi ang haba ng buhok ni Amber. Grabe~ Kinikilig talaga ako sa story huhuhu. Kaso nagkakasecond lead syndrome yata ako! Please help! I'm actually rooting for Ryu para kay Amber instead of Gray for Amber! Hindi pwede 'to! Mapapaasa lang ako!

4. Victoria
Kung nabasa mo na ang story, you might wonder, of all people, why do I even like Victoria? Yes. She's not the goody-two shoes in the story, she breaks the law, but she's a woman that Amber can always count on. Kahit na hindi maganda ang way of living niya, isa siya sa mga taong nagbigay ng malaking tulong kay Amber upang makamit niya ang hustisiya. Bakit niya tinulungan si Amber? Kasi naniniwala ako na mabuti siyang tao.

Oh! And I also love how the author collaborated with another author here in the story. There are special chapters here. Napa"Hala! Sila pala yung nakita nila!" na lang ako! I'm sure mapapaganon din kayo KUNG nabasa niyo na yung story nung isang author. Hahahah!

So that's it! Iyan ang mga tumatak sa isip ko. Pero kahit na natapos ko na ang Detective Files 1-3, there are still a lot of questions that are left unanswered in my mind. Ano ang next kong dapat basahin? Detective Files Untold? Doon na kaya masasagot yung questions ko? Hmmm...
