Chapter 1: Rushing for Poutines

Start from the beginning

Not just any food truck that serves burgers, or milkshakes, or anything that you can think about in it. It was a special food truck that serves poutines!

The truck was red all over, with designs of the maple leaf and mooses all over the truck. At the top, of course, was a large-scale serving platter of mostly fries, cheese bits and gravy all over.

The truck itself had a name written in cursive French: "Le Poutine Extràordinare".

As the truck was being parked at the side of the parking lot, the flap at the side opened up to reveal a French-Canadian woman with blonde hair and an outfit with the red Canadian maple leaf on the center. Her hat resembled a poutine platter, and that she wears a red hair clip that had the same leaf as the shirt. Her name tag at her left said "Charlotte".

"Bonjour! Bienvenue à la grànd debut de Le Poutine Extràordinaire!" Charlotte greeted as she posed in a welcoming stance. ("Hello! Welcome to the grand opening of Le Poutine Extràordinaire!")

"Ha-ha! We made it, all right!" Grizz cheered again, but stopped when he heard her say her native French. "I don't get what she said, anyway..."

"She said ‘Welcome’, Grizz," Panda reminded him, who looked through his phone for the translation of her words. "At least we made it here in time..."

"...and we're first in line!" Grizz finished. "That's just how being an influencer feels like..."

The three bears then went closer to the truck, feeling like they hadn't done that before in their lives, and that they seemed so excited to try and taste a poutine platter for the first time.

"Oh, that was soooo good..." Grizz mumbled to himself.

"Well, yeah, I guess," Panda chuckled upon seeing his brother posing in a cute pose like that, all while he's close to Charlotte. "Anyway, I don't even know what poutine is..."

"You òursos don't know what poutines are?" Charlotte asked them. "You see, these are the most delicious treats ever made! Fries, cheese and gravy in one platter? That will bring your senses up!" She said those words with flattery and patriotically. "You wanna know why? Because they are from Canada!"

"Canada?" Grizz, Panda and Ice began to exchange glances.

"Oui, Canada!" Charlotte now posed herself as if she salued her home country. "Land of the free! Home of the brave! Nature's perfect home and full of the nicest people you can ever meet!"

Hey, that line "home of the brave" was in the United States allegance, you dingle, Panda thought.

"We also love bears, if you ask me!" She then handed down a printed menu of the truck to Grizz, which featured at the back a Mountie in full uniform hugging a grizzly bear, and that the two of them had smiles in their faces. "See?"

"Wow, so cute!" he then giggled a little as he saw the picture. "Okay, then, three poutines, please."

"More gravy, less cheese on me," Panda reminded her.

"Ice Bear wants less gravy, more cheese," Ice added in monotonusly.

Charlotte started to giggle at what they had said, but she insisted to serve them, anyway, for they are first in line, or so she thought. "Don't worry! Coming right up!"

She then started to make three poutine platters for the Bears, and while she did so, the brothers huddled in for a selfie from Panda's phone.

"Okay now, say ‘poutine’!" Panda said, phone raised and ready to take a selfie.

"Poutine!" The bears made their best smile, with Grizz showing his usual smile and Ice smiling like he had opened his mouth wide.
