Y/N L/N. A humble girl from a small village, seemingly loved by the townspeople, suddenly runs away one night.

After encountering a peculiar boy and his demon sister, they jo...
"It's night, but it's so bright out here! And everything is so tall! What's the deal?!" Tanjiro whines, already annoyed.
"Isn't it amazing, Tanjiro?! I've never even dreamed of this sort of stuff! We have to come back here one time when we don't have a mission, okay?"
He seems endeared by my excitement and nods, Nezuko falling asleep while standing. Poor girl must've had a tough time healing.
The three of us hold hands as we walk through the crowd, and I'm startled as something produces a loud sound, a large thing passing by me on rails.
"Whoa!"
Tanjiro groaned and lifted his scarf over his head. "This is making me dizzy..."
"Too many different scents for you to handle?"
He nods, and we keep walking. "I don't know how you aren't overwhelmed by this. There's so many lights here."
"I am overwhelmed, but it's quite beautiful so it's worth it."
"Hmm... Let's go this way." Tanjiro takes us down an alley, but our journey is cut very short as we see two people making out, and we quickly apologize and fluster as we leave.
Eventually we made it past the mass of people, much calmer now as we sat by an udon stand.
"Excuse me, sir? Could I get a bowl of udon with grated yam?" I chuckle, finding his drained state quite cute.
"Y/N, do you want one too?"
"Ah, no thank you." I smile, feeling something weigh on me. Looking to the source, I see Nezuko sound asleep on my shoulder, snoring softly.

I gently pat her head, smiling. Even she seems overwhelmed.
"I've never been to a place like this before..." Tanjiro whined.
"Me neither, my village isn't even close to a tenth of this place."
"It's way too crowded..."
We both chuckle, and I'm still making sure Nezuko is comfortable as she naps, her soft snores reminding me of a little kitten. How adorable!
Tanjiro received his udon, and we sat on the bench for a while to loosen up, until Tanjiro stood up, the bowl slipping from his hands as it shattered on the ground.
"Tanjiro? What's wrong?" I get a feeling of unease, his reaction really unlike him.
I get up, even more worried as I grab his shoulder. "Tanjiro? Hey, Tanjiro!"
