"Ooh I do need a bit of help with anatomy and foreshortening! I'm probably gonna need this for a comic I'm gonna do in the future!"

Anatomy is always tricky, especially human anatomy. I'd say the major aspect to focus on are breaking the body down into simple shapes, like cylinders and squares.

There are way more detailed examples on Pinterest (I can't recommend it enough) on human anatomy, but what's helped me the most is finding shapes

There are way more detailed examples on Pinterest (I can't recommend it enough) on human anatomy, but what's helped me the most is finding shapes. Also, I've seen other artists do this, but instead of a circular head they put a 3-D cube surrounding it. I guess it can help with facial structure, since the human face isn't completely round.

As for foreshortening, I actually had to look this up! And boy did I find some good resources. One thing that helped me was putting a 3-D box around the person.

I saw this in a few examples and -as someone who is a total beginner at perspective- made it waaay easier!
