"We get crows then? What for?"
Tanjiro asked.

"The kasugai crows are used mainly to facilitate communication."

"Wait, crows...? Isn't this a sparrow?"
The blondie asked, the little bird beginning to loudly chirp at him, scaring him.

"Actually, yeah... Mine seems to be an owl of sorts? Maybe a mixup happened?"

The two twins stare us down for a short moment, the smile never leaving their faces.
"No."

And that was that. Well... This bird seems to like me, letting me pet it already, so I guess it's okay.

"I don't need this crap!"
No eyebrows, yet again, yelled out as he threw his bird aside, this time angry as he stomped up to the twins.

"Who cares about some stupid crow?!"
All of us froze up as he grabbed the white-haired twin by her hair, forcing her to look at him.

"I want my sword, and I want it now. Give it to me before I get angry."
He glared on.
"The color changing katana. I want it now, do you hear me?!"

Is he serious?! They can't just forge him a sword this instant!
What a brat.

Before I could say anything, Tanjiro walked up to him and grabbed his arm.

"Take your hand off her. Or I'll break your arm. Now!"

Blondie seemed to panic at the scene; gosh, he seemed scared of anything that moves...

The butterfly girl paid no attention to any of us, just looking at her crow as it neatly perched on her arm.

"Tch. Give it your best shot."

I sighed and calmed down, knowing that Tanjiro could easily just headbutt him down if he got too aggressive.

I accidentally bumped heads with him once, his forehead was so damn hard I went down for the entire day...
It was both amazing and scary how strong he was.

But luckily, just a small but painful grip seemed to make him back down, groaning in pain.

Breaking the silence, the other twin spoke up, completely unphased by this...
"Are you finished chatting with each other?"

Once we settled down again, they removed the purple fabric from the table, revealing a multitude of metallic rocks that sat neatly spaced out.

"Now, the time has come. Please select an ore to use for your swords. The steel you will protect yourself with, and with which you will annihilate countless demons, will be that of your own choosing."

We all stood before the table, looking down at the almost identical metals.
How are we supposed to choose?

I look at Tanjiro, and he seems to have already made up his mind as he stepped forward, seemingly already finding his perfect ore.

He smelled it, and then it clicked!
I could probably find the best one by visually analysing them.

Scanning the table in detail, I look toward one that caught my eye. Despite looking like the rest, it held a tiny white shimmer, more than the rest.
