"Open your eyes son, "Slowly opening my eyes, I squint a bit due to the bright lighting. I could feel Izekeal, my wolf, urge to go now. To go and find out mate, glancing up at my dad I see the proud smile on his face as he nodded. Bolting up I run as fast as possible through the crowd, I had her scent. Watermelon and nature, a familiar scent but I didn't care to try and remember, the urge to get to my mate too strong. Rushing through the pack's halls, I smile happily as the wind rushes past my face my heart beating wildly in anticipation.

Reaching the end of the halls, I waste no time pushing open the metal doors. Any other day I would have complained about how heavy they were, but at this moment they felt as light as a feather as I pushed through them. Ezekiel practically screamed at me to run faster as the scent became closer, turning the corner I screech to a halt when I see my best friend talking to someone, when did he even get back?

"Mate?"Ezekiel spoke up his voice sounding just as confused as me as he repeated his words, " Mate!" Ezekiel repeats making me stand there in surprise, Jackson was my mate, a man was my mate. Why am I not upset, maybe because it's Jackson and not some random stranger. He looked so good right now, just standing there in a gray button-up dress shirt, which fit his muscles perfectly making me bite my lip. His pants hugging him in all the perfect places, and his smile oh god his smile just made me want to jump him then and there, his brown lips almost inviting as he spoke to whoever he was talking to making me take a step forward just in time for me to hear what they were saying.

"I'm so happy you back and just in time for Iz coordination bro!" An unfamiliar voice spoke exciting making me frown, why the fuck was he so excited about my mate coming back.

"Right! I can't wait to surprise him, wonder if he already found his mate," He chuckled making me smile, I sure have babe.

"Fuck his mate man how about yours, bro what if it's a guy," The guy said dying in laughter making me growl lowly, so what if it is fuck face. Before I could even growl again the guy added. "Bro I would reject instantly wouldn't you, "Stilling I look over to Jackson who was also chuckling.

"Fuck yes I don't want so guy trying to kiss all on me even if it was uh ISRAEL! Shits nasty,"He laughs using me playfully, but I didn't take it as a joke. He would reject me, my own mate would reject me. To and salt to the wound, Jackson just happened to look my way his face instantly lighting up making my heart ache a bit. "Damn man I wanted to surprise you! Find your mate yet?"He asked as he walked my way the other guy seeming to have already walked away, I wish I could too. "Come on Issy you find her yet?!"He asked once again as he hugged me sparks going through my entire body.

"No haha I thought I smelt her but I guess not," I said playfully with a shrug making him frown.

"Your not as happy as you usually are what's wrong?"He asked placing his hands on either side of my face making me close my eyes for a second, the feeling of his hands making my wolf purr in delight. Quickly reopening them I tried my hardest to play it off.

"Just a bit disappointed you know haha," I say backing away from his hands making him look at me confused, we were quite touchy friends so my behavior was unusual. "I-I'm heading back now you should go and find your parents they would love to see you," I said turning around before he could even speak, my eyes watering each step I took. It felt as if someone was ripping my chest open as I walked, the distance making my heartache. I quickly wiped my eyes as I made my way back home, opening the front door I am not surprised when my eyes meet my expecting parents.

"Well don't hide her where is she?!" My mom cheered happily looking around as if a girl would magically appear behind me, hanging my head down I let the tears fall as I close the front door. "Oh, no baby what's wrong what happened?" My mom asked her hands grabbing my head as she placed my head onto her shoulder, letting go I sobbed into her shoulder. My parents were always my safe place, so telling them about this honestly wasn't a problem for me.

"My mates a boy ma," I sob making her freeze for a second once for her patting to continue.

"Baby we went over this, the godde-"

"It's Jackson ma," I cut her off as I stood up straight my eyes burning from tears, I didn't miss the surprised look in her eyes as she glanced over at my father their eyes wide but not surprised.

"I mean you two were always a little to close what's wrong with Jackson?" She asked with a smile trying to wipe away my tears as more flowed when I remembered the words he said.

"He's gonna reject me ma, I-I heard him say it!" I say choking on my words a bit as more tears flowed down, "Because having a man kiss on him even me is just nasty," I cried harder as my mom just looked over at my father once again in a panic my dad's eyes clearly looking for a solution.

"Baby stop crying its ok, he wouldn't reject you he was probably just joking around," My mom said hopefully, her smile soft as she pressed a kiss to my cheek, I was too much in my own head to realize she had guided me to the couch and had sat down with me.. "Shh my boy it'll all be ok," She spoke softly her voice comforting as I laid my head down in her lap and cried.

"I want him to be my mate ma, but he's gonna reject me, I can't lose him ma," I sobbed as my mother hushed me softly pressing a kiss to my cheek as I cried, I don't even know how long I had cried until I began getting tired.

"Clara what are we gonna do,"I heard my father whisper assuming I was already asleep as my mother softly ran her hands through my messy curls.

"I know a doctor." That was the last thing I remember before passing out.
