While stuffing all of my books in a bag I realized that I have left a part for the pop quiz today! I pulled out my notes so I could study them on the bus and then I left for breakfast. I pulled out the cereal bag and a bowl meanwhile mom came, sat down, and started asking me about the previous day. We were having a beautiful mother-daughter chat when the jackass(Kollin, my stepfather) in our house entered the dining hall. This is the part where I leave for school. Today I was on time for the bus so I ran inside quickly and grabbed a seat. I was focused on my notes that I didn't realize when Jack(my best friend from 5 years now) got on the bus. He didn't even disturb me so I was able to do almost everything. Then he told me when Maddie's(also my best friend from 5 years ) stop came. We got down and she was late again so we walked to her house. Meanwhile, I explained to Jack why I was studying on the bus, and as usual, he replied casually," I couldn't care less." Maddie came out running and we kissed cheek-to-cheek. Then Jack being a simp sits on a knee and kisses her hand, they've been doing this since they became Romeo and Juliet in the play three years ago. We usually hate the fact that Mads is always late but drives us to school and back so she is kind of our queen. We all go to a private school, St Julians. Maddie is rich so she can afford it, Jack is studying on a scholarship and since my mom is reputable amongst the faculty I was also given an easy admission.

My mom(Lara) is the greatest mother ever. She works so hard for me and she is one of the best cardiologists in the town. Meanwhile, Kollin's father has this huge ass company of steel manufacturing and he works as the manager.  

Finally, we got there and Today I was feeling this hyperactive energy. It is my 17th birthday tomorrow. Normally Maddie goes for her cheer practice every morning but today she decided to bail on it. We were early today so mads and I was sitting on the bench waiting for jack while he had to check his practice schedule! [ I must say that both of my friends are very popular. They have a lot of friends whereas I am completely opposite! ]
"Ladies, ready to rock n roll?" Jack said with such excitement as if he won some match!! "Stop it loser! Yes, we are ready! No need to make an announcement!" Mads said as always. Then all three of us went into the library and did some crabby stuff like listening to music on high volume or pretending to help with the books but actually messing up the order. This was necessary because our librarian is so rude and she never lets me rent any of the books. All three of us have been planning to annoy her for so long.
My first class was math, I don't really have any friends in this class but I am okay with it! I ran into Mrs. Heina (math teacher) a couple of seconds before class, she knew it was a day before my birthday so she wished me! To be honest, I love it when teachers give me blessings, it feels amazing. 
The day was boring as always. We all don't even have any classes together so we meet during the lunch break only. Today there was the orchestra selections for the first time so I decided to stay late after school because Mads was auditioning! We didn't get to meet during lunch because all of us wanted our work to be completed before the auditions. 
The day got over and I saw Mark (the perfect guy with a great personality and the best way of talking) I've had a crush on him for two years but it is not like I didn't date anyone! I've dated someone but Mark is so forever. Mark and I don't really talk, I mean unless he has to ask me where Jack is cuz they are kind of close! Then I just left the hall with the sight of him being even happier about the day.
" Grace hey wait up, just a sec", I heard a male voice. Was it Mark? It couldn't possibly be him in ages! And then he came in front of me," hey hi I heard it was your birthday tomorrow!" Mark said! "Hi yea it is actually my birthday tomorrow", I wasn't nervous! "So what are you doing tomorrow?"-Mark.. "oh I don't know! I'll go to some party or something I have no idea", now I was nervous because I actually said no partying to Mads and Jack, I was supposed to be with mom. "Well good for you then. Happy eve again!" I am so intimidated by him that I never even look him in the eye but I talked properly today!
I told about this to Maddie while leaving for the auditorium and she was disappointed. She wanted me to tell him that I was free the next day! Maddie went in the front, signed her name up for the audition and I had to sit back. When it started I took out my earphones and wore them cuz some people had high pitches and some didn't know how to control the volume of their speakers. Then I saw Mark entering from the door. It was shocking because I didn't know he was into music. Then I saw him pulling a hand and it was his rumored girlfriend (Bailey). She is sweet and I kind of don't hate her! They kissed(cheek to cheek) and she left and he came next to me. But I was listening to something or pretending to listen. "It is a music audition, you don't have to harm your ears particularly !" I could hear him say this because no song was playing on my phone! While removing my earphones I said," no actually I would rather prefer harming my ears than my brain by listening to the extravagantly talented people singing and playing instruments!" He laughed and we started talking until it was Mads' turn when I said," Mark shush now listen to the best singer auditioning."  He was laughing. " What another bad seed?" He thought I was mocking the next person but then I told him that it was Maddie's audition next so pay attention. Maddie was great, she was being selected as the lead singer and that was my intuition! Then I was about to talk when he told me it was Bailey's turn next. She was playing guitar and it was beautiful! I praised her to him for real! Non-participants were supposed to leave after the auditions got over and the rest were supposed to stay for 5-10 minutes until the selected students announced! When I left the hall I saw Jack, we met and then he called Mark who was going out. We actually talked a lot! When Maddie came hopping came yelling towards us" ssup losers, want an autograph from the lead singer?!" I thought when bailey will come out I shall ask everyone to go have some food and celebrate. Bailey came out and she kept standing outside the door when Mark noticed her and said goodbye to us. It was so weird but I was the one getting my hopes up. Well, we all decided to go to the new place that Jack discovered last week!
In the park where we were having so much fun! A friend of Jacks' came(Caleb). He talked to us and then invited all of us to his house on the next day(Friday/my birthday) Jack and Mads both looked towards me with the hope of saying yes and I did. The party was starting at 11 am and so I knew that I could do both spend time with mom and go to the party.
Maddie and I went shopping and she bought me two dresses and a pair of shoes but I returned them cuz she was being extra generous. That's it we left. She dropped me home and I went straight into my room! Trying to get my shopping bag out of anyone's (Kollin's) eyes!
Mission successful, I got back and I was so excited!!!!!! I barely could do anything other than think about tomorrow. Kollin left for his flight and mon left for the hospital and I was all by myself so I cooked some things which made me feel even better........
