The Stars in Our Eyes
It had taken a month to get the motorbike from the back yard of Ted Tonks' house. Whatever he did to it made it extremely difficult to corrupt it's magic to shrink it down. I enlisted George's help. A year and a half after the battle and all it was doing was rotting away. We couldn't have that, could we? Sirius wouldn't have wanted it that way. We finally got it to comply and shrink it to stow away in our pockets. I held Teddy's hand and apparated away.
We landed in George's flat above the shoppe. The bells and whistles from the multitude of products downstairs were ghostly sounds lulling Ted to sleep. I thank Merlin everyday that I have a piece of Sirius and Remus left. His sandy hair was just like Remus' when he slept but his smirk, oh, that could only have come from the Black side.
I held Ted in my arms while George tinkered away on the bike.
It was the first time I'd heard him laugh in while when I told him of my plan. One last bang. Sirius would have loved it.

Around eight in the evening George exclaimed excitedly, startling poor Ted. He began to cry and I grabbed his bottle and fed him his dinner.
George grabbed be by the shoulders shaking me "Harry, you prat! We did it! Now we only have to find a way to get everything set," He grinned devilishly.
"If only you knew how to sneak in and out of a building you lived in for seven years, git," but George had already turned back to his plans.
Ted yawned loudly and smiled at me.
At least someone recognized my sass.
George rubbed his hands together. "Alrighty then. When did you want to do this?"
I thought for a moment and half smiled.
"Professor McGonagall's birthday. "
"Oh. Oh, Harry! I may just have to marry you if you don't stop being so schemy this instant."
"On the high chance I sound like 'Mione, I don't think 'schemy' is a word."
"Well, October 4th. Here we come! Good Ole Minnie is in for a happy birthday surprise!"

We apparated near the gates of Hogwarts and began our trek to the castle. Having been rebuilt to completion, school had already been underway for some time.
We passed by unnoticed with the help of the invisibility cloak. It was the dead of night and I was sure there were people still patrolling. Teddy was tucked under my arm. I let him nap longer so he'd be able to see this even if he wouldn't remember it.
We made it to the side of the castle with the lake. We threw off the cloak and I packed it in the book bag I had 'Mione charm and pulled out everything we needed. Two broom, 21 fireworks ,for every seven years the three marauders attended, with different crude remarks. And one for Fred.
We took our brooms in our hands and soared high in the sky. We were above the deep murky black lake now.
I nodded to George and laughed at his giddy expression. I tapped Teddy awake and gave him a second to wake up.
We let off the first one to alert the castle. No one would see it, but they'd certainly hear it. It was of Fred's face. Orange and purple, of course. Like the atrocious wallpaper he picked out for their flat. I saw George's smile falter and swallow hard.
I felt the same lump in my throat moments later when Teddy recognized his father in the sky screaming "Dada! Harry, Dada. Look!," pointing where they were all there smiling down.
I looked behind me where half the school was gathered on the lakeshore. Professor's robes stood out while holding a Lantern. Her hand was over her mouth seeing the marauders with a quite large "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KITTEN" underneath.
I could see the tears glistening in her eyes from my angle.
I looked at George who was pulling out the shrunken motorbike out of his robe pocket. He threw it high up and pointed his wand at it simultaneously enlarging it and maneuvering it in a circle around and around.
With one final spin, it shot straight in the air, exploding into a mimic of the constellation Sirius before the sky died out with the embers of the motorbike falling into the black lake beneath us. Teddy was still clapping and laughing.
George and I left behind the cheers and we rose off into the stars.
One last prank at Hogwarts in honor of the pranksters who died protecting the Light.
