| SYNOPSIS |

"It's okay to be a glowstick; sometimes we have to break before we can shine" (Jadah Sellner)

━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━

Nothing is ever as it seems.
You'll never know the full truth behind another's actions. You'll never know what thoughts run behind someone else's eyes. And, if they're good about hiding it, you'll never know the true amount of scars a person has, be it on their body or in their heart.

Running is the natural response when you're scared, an ever-present option—sometimes even the most seductive option—whether it be running from someone else, from never-fading problems, or even feelings.

But eventually, whatever you're running from, will catch up to you—be it because you're just too tired to continue or because you've finally found the courage to face it head-on.

Perhaps that's what prompted Choi Baekhyun to open that email. Maybe that's why he purchased the plane tickets. Maybe he was finally tired of running and ready to face the music.

Whatever the reason, Baekhyun knows one thing for sure now: he can't back out. Can't run back to America with his tail between his legs. Can't keep running.

Even if that's exactly what he wants to do. Even if he knows he doesn't belong in Korea. Even if an internal question runs through his mind for every minute he keeps his feet planted in the dirt.

| BRIEF SUMMARY |

Running was something Choi Baekhyun was used to doing. To him, it was easier to walk away and ignore than it was to confront and accept.
