Day 19

            Lola went home to see her family. Deborah wasn't home and Demilade had gone to work. So she was all alone in the house. Moreover, she needs their presence. She missed her family. And she wanted to see them even if it was for a short while.

              Her father was so glad to see her. He was seeing her twice in a week since the deal begin. And she can tell how excited he was to see his daughter. Most especially when she prepared a meal for all of them.

               She even went to pick the twins up from school. They couldn't stop talking about all the things that go on at home and in the neighbourhood while she wasn't home. Tito keeps exaggerating how Daniel's food isn't as good as hers. And how he let them take their bath on their own assuring them that they were now big girls. They also wanted her to acknowledge that.

            She couldn't stop laughing. And she realized how much she miss them. She was glad that she came to see them. She wished she can come back home but she can't. She can't keep hiding in her comfort zone. She got to endure more things to achieve her dreams.

           And staying with Demilade, the arrogant billionaire is one of them.

           After spending time with them she left in the evening before Demilade would return from work.

             Lola prepared Demilade meal when she got home since Deborah wasn't around. She knew he would be coming late since it was a Friday. She watched a movie for a while before she felt sleepy and very tired from the journey and work she did at her father's house and also when she get back.

             She had gotten so used to not doing anything from morning till night. Although she helped Debbie with some of the cleanings but it can't be compared to the kind of work she does when she was still at home. And it is not like what she does really matter. Some people come to do different cleaning in Demilade's house. Some people come to clean the windows and blinds. And those who polish the doors and wash the bathrooms and toilet every weekend.  Some people clean the garage and the compound. Some people help him in shining his tiles. And they come once a week. So Deborah doesn't have much work to do than cook and maintain the house until those who clean the house comes around.

             But she has to know this won't be forever. She will return to her normal life soon. She won't always be in the house of the billionaire who has people who help him in doing his work. And who helps in cleaning his house. She should not get too comfortable with the way things are right now because it won't last.

            She placed Demilade food in a  cooler and she set the tray and plates with the cutlery he will be using beside it on the dining table. She placed his wine cup on the table beside it. She wrote something on the little notepad that Deborah use to write the list of things she needs to buy for her boss which she kept in a drawer in the kitchen cabinet.

            She went to her room after making sure the door was locked. Demilade has his key to get into his house. So she went to change into her nightwear and she lay on the bed. It was already ten at the night. She wondered how the guy can wake up early after all the late-night arrival and work.

           She commends him in that aspect. He might be an arrogant jerk with high-grade pride but he was hard-working. He works for everything he has. And she doesn't really blame him if his pride is high on the spike. She guess it wasn't easy being a billionaire.
