Recap:

I stare at the picture and smile a little as I think of the memory.

I rip the picture in half.

I am finally coming to terms with it after four years.

Christen Press will never love me.

Present

Tatum's POV:

It is the next day after the car accident. Hope is at my apartment doing some work and I'm at the hospital. Hailey told me that Tobin is up and Christen is up as well.

Tobin wouldn't do anything the nurses needed her to do unless she saw Christen. So Hailey took her to Christen's room.

Fortunately, Christen and Tobin don't know who Hailey is to me and Hope. So I don't have to worry about them asking questions.

Right now I am at the front of the hospital taking care of some patients folders. "Hey," Hailey says leaning on the desk next to me.

"Hi," I say as I sort through the folders.

I hear Hailey sigh quietly. "Are you ok?" She asks.

"If coming to terms that your ex-girlfriend will never love you after four years after she cheated on you with your ex best friend is good, they yeah, I'm great," I say sarcastically.

"Tate," Hailey says quietly.

"Even if Christen did love me, how am I supposed to forgive her?" I say as I turn to face Hailey, "I'm done loving people."

"Tatum, you can't say that," Hailey says as I roll my eyes.

"Why not?" I ask as I closed the cabinet.

"Because-," Hailey says, but gets cut off by someone running in.

"Where's Christen Press and Tobin Heath?" The person asks.

"I'm sorry ma'am, unless you are family to them," the receptionist says.

"She's with me," I say waking up behind the receptionist.

Ashlyn looks at me with wide eyes.

"Of course, Dr. Solo," the receptionist responds with a small smile.

"Come on," I speak to Ashlyn as I start to walk down the hallway.

"I didn't know you worked here," Ashlyn says as she walks beside me.

"No one needed to know," I say as we reach Christens room.

"This is Christen's room. Tobin is inside," I tell Ashlyn.

"What happened?" Ashlyn asks before I walk away.

"They have the same doctor, I'll send him over to explain. Don't tell them I work here," I tell Ashlyn and I start to walk away.

"Tatum," Ashlyn calls out and I sigh and turn around.

"Yes?"

"Thank you, for saving them," Ashlyn says.

I just nod and walk away.

"Williams," I say when I open the door to his office.

"Hey, Solo," he responds with a smile, "What's up?"

I smile at his small words, "A close friend of Press and Heath are here. She's in Press's room. Do you mind telling her their injuries?"

"Of course," he says while standing up.
