Chapter 5

"Pasenyahan mo na kapatid ko ganun talaga yun" sabi niya at napakamot sa ulo.

"It's fine, Your Highness" I replied and smiled at him. Ang gaan ng pakiramdam ko sa kanya, 'di katulad nag Emperor na parang papatayin ako 'pag may mali akong galaw. Nabalik ako sa reyalidad ng nag salita ulit siya.

"May problema ba?" tanong niya.

"Nothing, Your Highness" sabi ko at pilit na ngumiti. Makalipas ang ilang minuto ay nakarating na kami sa kwarto ko.

"You can call me Kiel" sabi niya na ikinagulat ko.

"But—" agad niyang pinutol.

"No buts. I'll be your brother-in-law soon anyway" sabi niya at ngumiti. Ngumiti nalang ako nang pilitan at nag paalam sa kanya. Ayokong maging Empress, I need to talk to His Majesty tomorrow. Nag bihis ako ng pantulog at agad humiga. Nakalipas ang ilang oras ay di parin ako makatulog. Bumangon ako at tinignan ang oras, It's already 11:48 pm. 'Di ako makatulog dahil iniisip ko kung ano ang sasabihin sa Emperor. Is the emperor still awake? I'll check him out. 'Di rin naman ako makatulog. Kinuha ko ang scarf lumabas ng kwarto.

Alam ko ang office room ng Emperor dahil na daanan namin yun ni Anne. Ilang minuto ay nakarating na ako sa office niya. And I was right he's still not asleep. May ilaw parin ang office niya. I need to tell him before it's too late. I knock on the door and heard him said "come in". Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang pintuan hanggang nakapasok na ako. Natanaw kong nakaupo siya at may sinusulat. 'Di parin siya lumingon kung sino ang pumasok.

Workaholic ...

At least he gives himself a rest.

"Leo, I just told you before to bring these papers to Duke Insfran" he said in a low tone voice, still focusing in his writing.

"Am I disturbing you, Your Majesty?" Syempre na disturbo mo Eleena busy nga siya. He pause and look at me. He put his quill down and lean to his chair.

"What are you doing here?"

"I have something urgent to tell you, Your Majesty" diretsong sabi ko. Tumayo naman siya at lumipat sa sofa kaya umupo din ako sa kabila.

"What do you want to say?" he ask while fixing his messy hair.

"Let's go get to the point, I honestly don't want to be your Empress, Your Majesty. I want to live a normal life, and you just told me before that I'm just from the prophecy, right?. Lastly, I'm not fit to be an Empress. We haven't even got to know each other?! Papayag ka ba talaga na ang magiging asawa mo ay 'di mo mahal?" seryoso kong sabi sa kanya na ikinahinto sa pag ayos ng buhok niya. Kahit kakaiba ako sa kanilang lahat, hindi yun ibig sabihin na ako talaga ang karapatdapat na maging Empress.

"You're right, you have a point," sabi niya kaya ikinatuwa ko.

"But, In one condition" dugtong niya.

"If I saw some evidence that you fit as an Empress, then I will let you stay here. If there's none of it, then I'll let you go. And lastly, I want you to be yourself no pretending dahil kapag nalaman kong nag pre-pretend ka, then I have no choice but to punish you" sabi niya at sumandal sa sofa.

"Then what about love?" Tanong ko sa kanya. Kumunot naman bigla ang noo niya sa sinabi ko.

"I don't give a sh*t about that" seryoso niyang sabi. WTH? He'll just marry me for him to have an empress in the throne? Are you kidding me?!

"The temple wants an empress in the palace, so I'll give it to them. Ang sakit nila sa ulo" bagot niyang sabi na ikinaseryoso ko.

He doesn't care about love?! What a bastard.

"Anyways, I can have many wives if I wanted to" boring niyang sabi sakin.

Yeah...He really is a bastard

I remembered what Kiel told me na mabait talaga ang kapatid niya. I take a deep breath and relaxed. I have no choice but to accept his condition, wala akong magagawa.,

"I accept your condition, Your Majesty, but I also want to add some to my conditions." 

"What is it?"

"Give yourself some time, Your Majesty. Have some rest" sabi ko at tumayo. I saw his eyes slowly widened. Hindi niya ba narinig yun sa ibang tao? He should have seen himself... his face looks very tired and stressed.

"Please don't move" sabi ko sa kanya at inilapit ang kamay ko sa noo niya. I cast a spell to make him feel a little okay. At parang gumana naman dahil parang na relax siya sa ginawa ko. I just pity him. That's why I did that, that's all. Halatang gulat na gulat siya sa ginawa ko, pero kailangan ko nang umalis dahil inaantok na rin ako.

"I shall take my leave, Your Majesty. Have a good night" sabi ko at nag bow sakanya. Lumabas na ako ng office at  saktong nakasalubong ko ang chancellor niya.

"Future Empress" gulat niya at nag bow sa'kin. Tumango naman ako at aalis na sana ng nag alok siya na ihahatid niya ako but I refuse his offer. Kailangan na mas unahin niya yung Emperor na yun.

What was his name again? I think it's Leo.

"You must have some good rest, Sir Leo" sabi ko at kanya at ngumiti. Tumango naman siya at pumasok na sa office.

Be yourself...

Ilang minuto din ay nakarating na rin ako sa kwarto ko. Agad akong dumeretso sa higaan. Oh! Didn't I tell you that I can use magic? I can use magic because magic still exist in my previous life. I also must have to take a good rest, may bukas pa naman.
