(Claude x Male Byleth) Barriers...(COMPLETED)

More then Now...

-(7:00pm)-

(Hilda's POV)

"Just hold still!" I yelled, as I began combing Claude's hair. "O-Ow Hilda! Are you trying to rip my hair off?!" Claude yelped.

"NO! I-just-wanna-make-it-nice!" I yelled, as I finally undid a knot in his hair.

"What are you my MOTHER?!" he asked, as he patted his head.

"YES! I'm gonna make you beautiful for Byleth!" I replied, as I grabbed a few of Claude's coats from his closet and threw it on his bed. I then looked at them and finally found the perfect one, I threw it on the side and tossed the rest back into Claude's closet.

"H-Hey be careful with my stuff!"

"Shut up, we only have 30 minutes to get you ready! You can fix it when you come back!" I said, as I gave Claude the clothes I picked out for him. "I'm gonna be waiting outside, call me in when you're ready." I said, as I made my way outside. I closed the door and waited, leaning against Claude's door.

Honestly I couldn't help but feel excited about this, I mean...imagine your best friend going on date with the love of their life. I couldn't have been more proud of my best friend..

"H-Hilda! I'm done!" Claude yelled, I turned around and opened the door and instantly wanted to burst into tears of happiness. "C-Claude! You look so handsome!" I cried, as I wiped the tears off my eyes. Claude looked absolutely stunning in the yellow and beige suit that I picked, and I couldn't help but feel proud of myself for making this beautiful creature.

"H-How do I look?" he asked, with a blushing face. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly trying to hold back my proud tears, "You look amazing!" I said, with a huge smile. Claude sighed as he looked down at me, "Why're you crying?" he asked.

"Y-Y-I'm just so proud of you!" I cried, as I wiped my eyes again. Claude smiled at me and hugged me back, "Thank you Hilda...for everything.." he replied.

"Yeah yeah!" I said, as I backed away from him. "Now come on! We don't wanna keep your man waiting!" I said, as I grabbed Claude's hand and ran out of his room feeling the happiest I ever felt in my whole life...

-(15 Minutes Later)-

(Byleth's POV)

I looked down the hallway for the second time, disappointed to see that the footsteps I heard were just a guard passing by. I fixed my hair as I looked up at the sky, wondering where Claude was. Until I heard the sounds of running coming towards me, I turned to my left and saw Hilda dragging Claude towards me.

I blushed as Claude walked out, he looked sexy with that suit...

"Byleth!" Hilda yelled, waving at me. I waved back as they made their way over to me.

"Okay Claude, I'm gonna go now! Have fun!" she said, as she waved goodbye to the both of us and ran back where she went. Claude sighed and looked up at me, "You ready?" he asked. I nodded and we began walking down to the village. I couldn't help but keep glancing at Claude...wondering how was I gonna tell him...then sadly Claude noticed my staring.

"Look, I know I'm sexy but you don't have to keep looking at me." I stared at him for a moment before I burst out laughing. "Yeah yeah." I said, as Claude smiled at me. 

I sighed and clutched my pocket tightly....knowing what I had to do...

-(3 Hours Later)-

(Claude's POV)

I honestly think I never had THIS much fun in my entire life! When me and Byleth arrived at the village (it was just a short 15 minutes walk) I couldn't help but admire all the sights as we walked through.  We played little games that they had set up for everyone to try, and to my surprise Byleth actually won the big prize in one game which he ended up giving to me (which was a big blue teddy bear).

I sat down on the ground where me and Byleth were gonna watch the fireworks, no one was around us..it was just me and Byleth..

"Heyo.." I looked up to see Byleth, carrying food that he bought from the stalls. "Thank you." I said, as he handed me my food. "Man I can't wait for the fireworks!" I said, as I grabbed a sandwich and began to chew it. I turned to look at Byleth who had a sad look on his face..

"Umm..Byleth? What's wrong?" I asked. Byleth looked at me and quickly smiled at me, "Nothing..I'm fine.." he said.

"Liar..." I said, glaring at him. "What's wrong...you can tell me anything." I said, as I placed my sandwich down. "I-I just don't if I should do...something." he said, clutching his chest. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly.

"Byleth..if it's super important to you then I suggest you do it...you only get one chance at life..and trust me you'll regret it later. So just do whatever you gotta do.." I said, Byleth's expression immediately changed which surprised me. He looked at me with the most serious pair of eyes I've ever seen, I released my grip on him as he stood up. 

"Claude..."

"Y-Yeah?" Byleth walked in front of me and knelt down on his left knee. He then looked back at me with his serious expression and reached into his chest pocket and grabbed a....

"Claude Von Riegan, will you make me the happiest man in the world...and marry me?" I looked at the shiny ring that Byleth held in his hand..it was beautiful. I felt tears come out of my eyes as I looked up at Byleth, who now had a worried expression on his face. 

"C-Claude?"

"Yes..."

"Huh?"

"Yes! A thousand times yes! I-I-ugh stupid tears!!" I whimpered, as I tried wiping away my tears. I heard Byleth laugh as he moved my hands and kissed me softly on the cheek.

"You have no idea how happy I am right now.." he said. 

"W-When did you even have the time to get that?" I asked, pointing at the ring in his hand.

"Well...let's just say that Lady Reha gave me a big scolding for skipping a meeting...it wasn't even that important anyway." Byleth said, with a shrug. I hit him on the shoulder making him laugh again. "No skipping meetings!" I yelled. 

"Alright...I won't.." he replied. Byleth then grabbed my left hand and placed the ring on my ring finger. "I love you darling.." he said, as he kissed my hand.

"I love you too..." I said, as Byleth moved forward to me and kissed me  on the lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck just as the fireworks went off...but sadly....none of us were paying attention to them.....

(I literally smiled the whole time I was writing this chapter guys. I am not even joking, at first I wasn't gonna make this chapter but the fujoshi inside me said "DO IT" so  I did it.
