"It's weird seeing you timid y/n"

"Well excuse me for being scared of bugs"

I pouted and bam laughs again.

"It feels like I'm protecting you for once" Bam replied "well enjoy it, we don't want me to slip up and burn all of us to the bone" I pouted

"Of course~" Bam replied happily "hey, are you sure these lizards are scared of light?" I ask, looking at mata

"Y-yes, they are" He choked out, as if he's scared of me "thanks mata, we'd be in trouble if it weren't for you" Bam said "it's no trouble" Mata replied

"But if mata is here before, have you been here hockney?" I ask "I don't know" Hockney replied

He told us what he knows and how he lost his memories and a piece of his soul is sealed inside a painting. And I was in a piece of his memory.

Hockney also told us about his ability to see the present and a few seconds to the future, which would come in handy soon.

"Then let's fo look for it together!" Bam exclaims "yeah, once we're done with our business here, we'll help you look for your picture" I continue

"Y-you don't need to do that" Hockney tried to reason "we're actually in a similar position as you are, so don't worry, you're helping us with this, so we'll return the favor" Bam replied

"T-thanks.." Hockney replied with a small smile. Bam and I look at each other and nodded. We continue down the path until we reached the end of a cliff and a door on the other side.

"Can I stay here now?" Mata ask "huh? Why? We came all the way?" I ask back "we'll, I'm actually pretty scared, grand de jah is pretty scary for lowly creatures like us" He replied

"Hmm.. It could be dangerous so there's no need for you to go" Bam said "T-that's right!" Mata exclaims "what's going on with you mata?" Hockney ask

"Give up bam!"

Someone that sounded very annoying chirps up. I groans and rolled my eyes as we turn around to see none other than rachel.

"Soon white and karaka will be here, forget about getting the second thorn fragment" Rachel said, huffing, maybe from running? Who knows.

"What? We're supposed to believe you? Did you just betray both of them?" I ask raising an eyebrow at her.

"What I'm doing is not your concern ms. Y/n" She spat and glare at me "of course it is, it involves bam" I narrowed my eyes at her

"Rachel.. I'm going" Bam said and I widen my eyes as bam made a blue platform underneath him. He has a determined look on his face

"What do you mean?! You'll die, just give up!" Rachel exclaimed "no, there's a reason I have to go" Bam replied and help Hockney and mata up.

I joined and look at the door that's starting to open. We fly towards it and suddenly a yellow lighthouse barrier appeared in front of us.

"I ASKED WHAT THE REASON IS BAM!!" rachel shouted as she jumps on her lighthouse, flying towards us.

She pushed mata away and step closer to bam.

"Oh shit-"

I helped hockney catch mata that almost falls off.

"You came here and meet the water color princess didn't you!? What did she tell you!?" Rachel ask and I glare at her.
