Ch.28

Khun's POV

I knock on bam's door with a tray of food on my other arm.

"Bam? How are you feeling? You haven't eaten since yesterday" I said

Still no answer, we tried to get him to eat ever since yesterday but bam kept locking himself in his room.

"I've brought you something to eat, I'll leave it here, make sure you eat it" I said as I place the tray on the floor, just outside his door.

I sigh and walks away. Y/n hasn't been doing really great either. I noticed she didn't sleep at all last night, but didn't wake me up.

I'm awake for a while since I'm worried that she might've cry again. But I passed out sooner than I thought.

She has locked herself in a training room since this morning. It's afternoon now, so I'm going to check on her.

I knock on the door and it just opens by itself. Y/n sit in the middle of the room, crossed legs and has her eyes closed. It looks like she's meditating.

I walks in and the door closed behind me. There are a few layers of runes, circling around her.

I call upon thee, hephaestus, god of flames, may thy light leads the dark path fate has bring upon your child

Y/n said and the runes glowed red. A small flame appears in front of her. It grows a bit bigger but eventually it blows up.

"Fucking hell" Y/n hissed and ruffles her hair in frustration. She collapses back to the floor with a groan.

How can she not noticed me in here?

I thought as I walk towards her.

"Hey" I greet "khun!? When did you get in here?" She ask, immediately sit up "not long, just before you started the spell" I replied

"Oh.. Sorry, I didn't noticed you, I'm too frustrated that I can't get this spell right" Y/n replied, leaning back with forh arms supporting her, she looks up to the ceiling.

"Maybe you should take a break" I said "I don't know.. What if we failed the next test because I can't do anything?" Y/n ask, hugging her knees and look towards the runes

I sit down next to her, y/n sigh and lean towards my shoulder. I smile and rest my head on top of hers.

"Don't blame yourself for what happened, you do know that gator and others are strong, they're probably running around finishing tests, catching up with the train" I reassure.

"Why is it that you always know how to cheer me up?" Y/n ask looking up at me. "Is that even a question?" I ask

Taking her hands, kissing her knuckles that are still warped around bandages. I smile when she looks down to our hands and her face starts turning rosy.

"Why aren't your hands healing up?" I ask as I rub her knuckles with my thumb "the door is super hard, plus I was angry, so the flames got stronger, it burns.. My skin.. It'll take a few days to recover" Y/n replied with regret

"It's good to know it won't leave a scar" I said and kiss her knuckles again. "Wouldn't that be cool though?" Y/n ask with a chuckle

"On a guy, yes, on a girl? No, girls are supposed to have soft and smooth skin and scar free" I reasoned and y/n pouted "aren't you being sexist? I heard evankhell has a scar and she looks cool" Y/n replied
