She pulled me over and sat me in front of a mirror before pulling out her own brand of makeup.

"You've taken after your mother in her beauty. You won't need much makeup but its always fun to put a little on and dress up a little." She mumbled, beginning to apply different powders and creams that don't even exist on earth.

Normally I would be nervously babbling her ear off and questioning her about what she's doing and why and why she approves of this whole bachelorette thing. I would be asking her about what Coeus told her about the whole thing. I had so many questions but it wasn't my first time and I knew way better than to do anything but sit completely still while my aunt was working on me.

What she did always seemed a little strange and eccentric while she was doing it but it always ended up perfect.

Once she was finished with my hair and makeup I looked like I was glowing.

I didn't even look real, but I looked exactly like myself.

She didn't try and hide anything or fake perspective to change me in any way, she just emphasized what was already there.

She had a way of really bringing out the best in anyone's beauty.

I guess that's why she is the goddess of beauty. While she is definitely one of the most beautiful people to exist, everyone has a different type and taste. Her real power is her ability to find the beauty in things and bring it out.

Its kind of hard to explain but lets just say once I was standing in the dress she chose out for me, my hair and makeup done I couldn't help but marvel at how perfect her work was. It wasn't overdone but just enough.

"Wow." Aphrodite breathed, "I'm good."

I nodded along, gently play with one of the curls in my hair.

Another thing Aphrodite is good at is making everything convenient.

The makeup will not smudge and can only be removed by one of her makeup removers. My hair won't become frizzy or puffy throughout the night, no matter how much I tough it. The dress will never wrinkle and is very comfortable, making me completely able to do anything and the heels I could walk in for weeks if I wanted to and my feet somehow wouldn't get sore.

She does not have the beauty is pain philosophy most use. She's actually very offended by that saying since its like saying she is pain in a way. I'm not so sure I understand her reasoning but she's very sensitive about it so I didn't push.

Throughout the entire process I couldn't help but pout. I was a powerful goddess yet I had no control over the situation.

I think this whole process is going to be weird and awkward but apparently Coeus doesn't agree so there is nothing I can do about it. I asked him for help so in the end I have to do what he tells me to and try and trust him. I just hope this isn't too embarrassing.

"Come one, lets go down and show everyone how gorgeous my niece is." She said happily and I followed her out of the room, still pouting.

"Stop scowling like that. It makes you less pretty. Smile." She said harshly.

I rolled my eyes like a child before giving he a fake smile.

"Brat." She muttered under her breath and I couldn't help but laugh a little.

As I approached the stairs I heard a song start up.

I rolled my eyes and groaned as Tadow by Masego, FKJ started playing probably announcing my arrival.

This is so cheesy I'm dying.

I sucked it up and started walking down the stairs. At the bottom were a bunch of men, all of which I knew lined up in different kinds of suits and tuxedos, most of which looked very uncomfortable.

Their eyes all turned to me and I could see most of them eyeing me up and down. Admiring Aphrodite's work.

I smiled awkwardly and waved a little, very unsure what I should be doing.

I few of the guys let out a little snort or suppressed laughter at my awkwardness but I glared at them. Soon enough most of the guys were laughing at how the hell we ended up in this situation and Coeus seemed to be enjoying this WAY too much.

He was dressed up all snazzily. I top hat, tuxedo and gloves on.

I stood at the bottom of the stairs and one by one the guys walked by, handing me a rose.

First was Zeus who looked very uncomfortable in the restricting classic black and white suit he was wearing but smiled largely, pulling me into a giant hug after handing me the rose, accidentally pricking himself on the rose thorns and getting some of his blood on his brand new white shirt.

Next was Donny who looked like he just thought the whole situation was hilarious. He bowed mockingly at me, doing a little spin and tossing the rose over at me carelessly. He was wearing a super old fashioned and fancy tuxedo similar to Coeus'. Probably the same one I never let him wear out in public. I laughed, shaking my head at my best friend.

Next was Dirt boy. I met him a few years back for a second after I fought Aqua. He smiled at me charmingly, winking a little. He had dark skin, light brown eyes and brown hair. To be honest I'd always found him really attractive and I guess Coeus picked it up.

He seemed super uncomfortable with the situation as well and I was surprised he actually agreed to coming at all. Not that Coeus would have let him not come.

After Dirt Boy was his brother, Fire. He was wearing a modern suit, black on black and let me tell you. I felt the breath knock out of me a little when he shot me a little smirk after handing me the rose. His fingers lightly brushing mine as we shared a knowing smile. Both equally as uncomfortable with the situation we were forced into.

Next was Killian. He was wearing a light blue ruffled suit and smiled at me awkwardly before thrusting the rose at me a little too aggressively. I couldn't help but let out a little laugh at which he blushed before quickly scurrying back into line.

Last was the god of war and some I definitely did not want to see again, Ares.

Shit.

His beauty knocked my breath out of me like it always did. He handed my the rose before leaning down and planting a kiss to the back of my hand, his familiar calloused hands skimming my wrist, as he kept eye contact the entire time.

I just couldn't find the will to look away as his forest green eyes mesmerized me.

He walked back into line, smiling mischievously, eyes still locked with mine.

I gulped, finally turning my attention back to Coeus who still looked way too happy. Glancing in between Ares and I knowingly.

The little shit knowns.

He knows and he still brought him here.

I glared Coeus down and he just smiled back innocently.

This little bitch.
