Can we? ~ Connor x Human! Reader ~

You returned to your desk across from Hank and Connor having shared a good child-father moment with Hank who was in a much better mood than usual and (possibly) sober? You sat down, turning on your monitor and looking through several files before you found an interesting Deviant case.

"A deviant at the Eden Club murdered a worker as it to escaped...human help may be involved?", you mumbled to the others, your brow furrowing. Human involvement...does that mean the Deviant escaped with a human...? Hank raised his eyebrows.

"Well, are we going or what?", he said, taking his feet off his desk and making his way to the door. You followed him, flicking Connor on the shoulder to get his attention. He neatly pocketed the coin he was fidgeting with, following you out the door, trying not to stare at your waist as he did so.

...

You pushed open the door, walking into the neon room that was the Eden Club. You tried your best to ignore the Androids, but a model looking very like someone you knew wink wink caught your attention. He gently grabbed your chin pulling it up to face him as you walked by. Without even breaking stride, Connor slapped his copycats hand away from your face, giving you a curious smirk as he walked by. You blushed, startled, and as payback tried to take his coin. You succeeded, earning a flustered look from him although you gave it back once he gave you the sad puppy eyes. He was to cute when he did that...

"WHEN YOU TWO ARE DONE FLIRTING GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE.", yelled Hank, already at the other end of the room. Connor looked away from you as you looked at youR shoes, walking over to where Hank stood as you followed him. Hank waved you two inside the room, following behind you as he shut the door.

 The room was overall in good condition, the only things out of place were the dead body of the worker and the human-sized hole in the wall. Connor walked over to the dead body, dipping two fingers into a substance you couldn't see on the ground nearby. You watched as he licked his fingers, looking almost like a chef judging someone's dish. Hank yelled at him for the billionth time and he apologized, catching you staring at him as he looked up. You found what he did charming in a sort of strange way, same as with his coin tricks. He had once tried to impress you by pegging Nines in the back of the head with it. Nines had promptly stormed up to him and pinned him to the wall until Gavin told him to put Connor down. 

 You smiled at the memory before you heard gunshots coming from outside.

"They're still here!" Connor, yelled, jumping up and dashing through the hole in the wall with you at his heels, pounding after him. You were just barely able to keep up with him as he hurried down the dimly lit alley, chasing after two dark figures in the distance. One of the two figures turned around and fired as they and their companion were backed up against a tall chain link fence by you and Connor.

 You were to slow and the bullet caught you in the leg. You collapsed, Connor pulling his gun in the two figured, in what could only be described as pure rage. He grabbed the one who shot you, a scrawny blonde male android, by the throat as he growled,

"Why the Phck shouldn't I blow your head off. "

The boys human companion (probably around 24-25) stepped forward hands up as he said,

"P-please...don't hurt him...h-he fired in s-s-self defense.

Connor turned the gun on him.

The poor boy was ghostly pale as he continued,

"Please...he's been ab-b-bused, he's scared...I broke him out."

His voiced steadied as he turned to look at you, seeing as you didn't seem to want him dead.

"I've been coming here for months...not for p-pleasure, I wanted a f-friend. I kept buying him out to talk to him, over and over, until I finnaly couldn't leave him here any more. As we tried to leave, one of the workers tried to stop us. Alex didn't really know his own strength, threw him against a the wall and broke it and we hid out here until you showed up. We knew we had to run and Alex had stolen the gun off of the officer he k-killed. Please, we just want to be together.

"Connor, let them go.", you said, your voice soft.

He turned to you, stil, angry but now shocked.

You nodded your head and he dropped the Android, Alex. The human boy ran over to him hugging him tightly and kissing him, fussing over the Android as Alex assures him he was ok.

Connor helped you up, having bound your bleeding leg as the hooked it over the fence.

You mumbled softly as you leaned into him for support.

"Do you think we could be like them? Together?"

He turned to you, hugging close before kissing you softly on the lips.

"Yes.", he said, pulling away.

The two of you turned around to see a smirking Hank.

"Gavin'll get a kick outta this he said, as both you and Connor blushed deeply, hobbling back toward the Club.
