Silence

The silence in the room was getting more and more unbearable...it felt empty, Hollow even. It felt as if someone was ashamed. As if they just wanted to burst into tears and pour out all there emotions at that very moment...but no, they said nothing...

Xander looked over to Luke, He didn't feel distant from him...but it felt as if he wasn't being told something. The crimson blush that laid upon Lukes cheeks always seemed to be there whenever Xander talked to him...but he'd never quite yet understood...Some people would say it wasn't love or faith...and that it was just some high-school yet to be romance...nobody had ever understood what Luke saw in Xander, not even Luke had an answer to that question...all he knew was that he would trade the world just to see him smile...

...More silence filled the room the awkward tension rising at record breaking speeds...but still nobody spoke...the occasional glance was thrown ones other's way but yet again...nobody said a word

Hailey's Eyes landed on Jake as she examined his body language, trying to understand what was wrong with him...he hadn't exactly been himself lately, he'd gone back to teasing them for liking music even though he himself was the lead singer in the band. Hailey never truly understood Jake, one minuet he had a passion...the next minuet he didn't...she knew something was up but she chose to ignore it, after all she didn't even have the courage to be the lead singer...she didn't know exactly what made her confidence drop and she never intended to find out, so she just thought Jake was having a rebelling phase like most singer's in bands...

...Jake coughed sending shivers down everyone's spine, as the cough bounced of the Hollow walls. Still everyone remained silent...not moving an inch there facial structure not moving slightly...none of them would've admitted it, but they'd really wanted someone to burst into the music room to break the tension that'd stirred up...but no...silence

Sean perked up slightly staring out the window...he wasn't exactly sure who he was supposed to look at, He always felt left out...as if he wasn't supposed to be there, he spent most of his time cleaning up everyone else's mess, once he found out Jake liked daisy...he backed off, but nobody appreciated it. He wasn't one to pity himself but he really did care about them way more than they cared about him or each other. They didn't care about each other's opinions and would fight at every chance they got...it seemed like they were falling apart...everything was falling apart...

Silence...nothing but silence, they loved each other but all that was in the air was awkwardness, Hatred...Sadness, they really where falling apart...

Milly looked up from her uncomfortable position and stared...she felt bad, she lashed out on them because she got her diary stolen...she punched Jake in the face for God's sake...she felt like a terrible person. She could've dealt with Zoey another time, but she decided to throw a tantrum and nearly get herself expelled...she nearly got her friends excluded from the band competition Xander was right...they shouldn't have to suffer because of her selfish needs...

They waited...breath after breath filling the silence in the room. Nobody said a word...it felt as if everyone was frozen in time...not a word was said...but there thoughts were all over the place...

...There hearts were pounding, heartbeat after heartbeat. It was so loud...yet so quiet...if they could all turn back time. They would, to before they decided to come to the music club filled with good and bad memories...to before they even met...life was much less complicated back then. They were kids, who had bright futures...but now no matter where they go there light always gets overshadowed by someone else's dark...some people even wonder if people like Xander even have happiness anymore...they do, they just know how people are these days...Xander isn't depressing. He just sees the world in a different light...he sees how easily people like Jake and Lia where manipulated...all because they were happy. Happiness isn't a disease or a curse. It's a gift...but one thing you should know about Xander...when he was a kid. He was never given gifts...

...Still nobody said a word...silence, nothing but silence. And now...there fate was sealed. Slowly but surely they all left the music club...until there was no one left in sight. The music room was filled with good and bad memories...and one that tore them apart
