"Okay," Demilade replied. "Come down." And he opened the door without waiting for a reply.

             Lola did as he instructed her. And they walked together into the building. The lobby is nothing like what Lola had been to. She fights the urge not to stand and ogle at the surrounding with the marble floor, oak receptionist desk, the beautiful interior decoration and the huge beautiful chandeliers above.

"Wow." She muttered to herself. So there are places like this in this country. She thought.

            They saw a pretty slender lady at the receptionist's desk. When Lola turned to look at her, she noticed she is an actress. A popular actress and her eyes opened widely in astonishment. She can't believe she is seeing a popular actress in this hotel. This is not just some random actress or an upcoming actress. She is one of the top-notch actresses in the film industry.

           She turned in their direction when she felt a presence beside her.

"Mr Demilade." She said surprised. A wide grin spread on her face when she confirmed it was him.

"Paulina," Demilade said with his signature smile.

             Lola looked at Demilade shocked. He knew her. This isn't as a fan meeting her idol. This is more than that.

"Wow. It's been so long since I last saw you here." She said with a sweet voice. She was smiling sweetly and fluttering her lashes at him.

"Yeah. We've been busy. So how are you?" He asked.

"I'm great."

"That's good to know. The movie industry is doing pretty well with you. Your last movie was great." Demilade complimented.

"Thanks. Mr Demilade. It's an honour coming from you. Will you be attending the charity party Director Davis is hosting? It has been the top topic in industries for a while now. And I heard some ministers will be attending."

"I got an invitation. I will check my schedule."

"You should come. You've done a lot to help us in the industry. It will be great to have you there. Director Davis has always wanted to meet you in person. So I'm asking personally for you to be there."

            Demilade gave a small smile.

"Okay. Since you asked I'll try to be there. It's so nice meeting you again Paulina." He said.

            She beamed like she was given a price.

"It's nothing. I'm glad to see you again too." She said.

"Here ma." The lady at the desk give her a key and she collected it. She gave Demilade an appreciative smile before walking away.

"Thanks." She muttered. "Alright, Mr Demilade. We will see at the charity party."

"Okay." Demilade nodded. She smiled again and then walked away to the rolls of elevators.

               Lola stood quietly without saying a word. She knew Demilade had forgotten she was present. But she didn't feel any remorse.

"How can we help you sir?" The lady at the desk asked with so much respect. Her voice was meek. And it brought back her attention.

"I need two tickets to the VVIP lounge." He said.

              She smile and nodded.

              Demilade brought out his credit card and gave it to the lady. She received it grateful and with a curt nod.
