Taratino Bay. Home to nothing in particular was divided two ways. The North Side, rich kids and million dollar cars, who look down us, The South Side, modest backgrounds and convenience stores on every corner.

Y/n Banks was a south sider, or as the North calls it, 'the wrong side of the tracks'. She loved being from the south, surfing, fixing cars, hanging with her five best friends pretty much anytime she wanted and helping her mother out with her catering business. It was all pretty perfect for her.

Harry Styles was from, you guessed it, The North Side. His father managed a beach side hotel and his mother was a boss woman in real estate. Harry attended the finest institution on the island, he was a good academic, didn't play a lot of sports aside from soccer, wasn't involved with anybody and had a bunch of 'friends' who were just as loaded as he was. He moved to TB when he was a kid, fresh from Manchester.

They were from opposite sides, their people never mixed unless it was a business transaction. They were as different as night and day. So when y/n's mother was set to work a big event on the north side, bringing her daughter along to help and their paths crossed, everything was bound to change. They didn't know it yet, but it wouldn't be the last they'd be seeing of each other.

"I definitely won that." Chase declared, patting your shoulder. "You're slacking if I'm honest." You stuck your board in the sand and shoved him, watching one of your best friends fall to the ground. "How about you stop making up bullshit?" You blew him a kiss plopping down on your towel and laying your head on Justin's stomach.

You were currently at the beach with your best friends, enjoying the sun rays reflecting on your skin and the sand sitting on random parts of your body.
Chase was your number one best friend. You'd known each other since diapers, you were born three minutes apart, your mom's had known each other since high school. You grew up together and you trusted him with your life, you loved each other more than anything.

You met the rest of the crew later on. Justin moved to town when you were ten years old. Some dumbass tried to steal his lunch in the 5th grade and Chase stopped them with no problem. He's been hanging out with you guys ever since.

Riley worked down at a restaurant near the docks. You met him because of the frequent deliveries that were made for your mom's business. He was kind of a loner when you met him two years ago, you invited him to hang out one time and he's been around ever since.

Finally, we have Natalie and Katerina, or as you like to call them, Nat and Kat, respectively. Natalie's boyfriend, Ross had been cheating on him with Katerina. When she found out, she was mad as shit, Kat didn't know either though. So when Natalie confronted her and Kat broke down in tears, they trashed his car and stuck together. Kat was a friend of your's already, you hung out in the same spots so eventually, they joined the fun too.

Your relationship works. You guys all click with another, and since the day this group was formed, you'd always had each other's backs. You swore it would always be that way. You felt lucky.

"You know one of these days, you're gonna have to stop being a sore loser C. It's not healthy." Justin mocked him, running his fingers through your soaked hair. You chuckled, popping a grape in your mouth. "There you have it Chase. Gonna quit being a baby anytime soon?"

Chase was about to most likely, insult you both when Nat's voice interrupted him. "Guys! North siders at Jace's truck!" We were all racing to the local food truck, our figures catching Riley's eye as we approached the scene. "What are they doing here Ri?" I muttered.
