"don't worry sir, you don't have to talk at all, I know that when your throat hurts every word you say it's like a hot dagger. I hope that we will be able to talk when we will arrive in Hanseong. As I said before, keep calm and rest, I will make sure that the crew takes good care of you" Kang Gook said.

Tae Joo smiled and nodded. He took another sheet and wrote his plan.

I will hide inside a box before our arrival, you will make sure that they put me inside the warehouse near the harbour. You should then look for a military uniform and some bandages so that I cann enter the palace as an injured officer.

As the prince was sure that his secretary read the letter he smiled and patted his shoulder

'Goodnight Kang Gook"

"Goodnight sir, I hope you will get back soon" Kang Gook said pretending that Tae Joo was the sick guest the servant talked about.

The journey was a little long but Kang Gook and Tae Joo managed to remain silent, Kang Gook didn't need to talk to  him, he just needed to know that he was fine so he went to his cabin every night when he was sure that Tae Joo was sleeping and looked at him for a few minutes... the only thing Kang Gook couldn't know (or he just pretended to ignore) was that the prince wasn't actually sleeping and that just waited for him to come so that he could see his secretary.

Kang Gook heard a salior shouting

"Hanseong! We arrived sir!"

Kang Gook slowly went downstairs and looked for Tae Joo, he found him in his cabin

"You should choose your box so that I know how to act" Kang Gook said calmly since the crew coudln't hear him because of the noise they were making

"Ok, do you think we should put something on it so that you can find it easily?" the prince asked, Kang Gook sighed and pushed him inside the first box he found

"Just be quiet, I will mark this so that I don't lose you, it will take probably thirty minutes so be patient."

"Fine Kang Gook, see you later"

The sailors started taking the boxes while Kang Gook got off the ship. He looked around to find his target but then two guards reached him

"What is your name sir?" the guard asked

"What are you looking for?" Kang Gook asked curious

"we are looking for a person, not an object, now tell us your name sir, don't make things more difficult" the other guard added

"I'm Kang Gook, secretary of his highness the crown prince... wait, what are you doing! Stop!" Kang Gook shouted as the two guards grabbed his arms and started pulling him

"We are pretty lucky, we were looking for you, the priime minister of our king said that you killed the prince, you are a traitor, you'd better find a way to kill yourself now because it is going to be really painful..." the second guard said

"How do you know that!? How do you know the prince is dead!?" Kang Gook shouted.

The secretary tried to  escape a few times but the guards eventually got sick of his not so cooperative behaviour and hit his head with a stick.

"Where is he? Is it really that difficult to find a uniform?" Tae Joo asked himself as he got bored, he waited for two hours before he heard someone entering the room

The prince did his best to remain silent since he wasn't sure that it was Kang Gook, he then heard that someone was trying to open the box, he looked at the person who opened it and...

"Prime minister Park... I know it is pretty weird to meet here but... ummm..." Tae Joo started

"You know what you have to do gentlemen..." the minister said as he tunred away

"Minister? What does this mean?" the prince asked

"Goodnight your highness" the mminister said before the men that came with the miniter hit the prince on his head

Kang Gook slowly woke up feeling his skin touching the cold dirty floor of the room the guard locked so that he couldn't escape.

The secretary stood up and loocked around, he tried to find something that could help him when he heard two eunuchs chatting near the prison of the palace

"You shouldn't talk about that" the first one said

"Oh come on, you asked for it. So, as I told you the king was really sad when he heard that the prince was dead!"

"And this is supposed to surprise me? How should a father react when he discovers that his own son was killed by a secretary who got paid by rebels!?"
